Chapter 28:

"Can you see her?" I asked Jake.

"Huh? Oh nah but I can see my date, bye lil sis." he said before swiftly making his way to his boyfriend.

I wonder how Talia took the news?

I started to look around for Elle but I couldn't find her so I decided to take a break from searching and go to the bathroom.

As I was perfecting my hair in the mirror I heard muffled moans.

For fuck sake, I mean they couldn't at least wait until after prom?

I decided to cough a little to make them aware that they weren't alone, a few seconds later Lizzie came out of the cubicle.

Ugh, I fucking hate this bitch. Like how come she is getting action and I'm not?

Then another person comes out of the cubicle.

"Sydney?" I accidentally asked aloud.

"I umm hi." she said as she waved awkwardly at me.

I didn't respond, instead I just stood there with my mouth ajar.

"Aurora, I know how this looks but we were just umm helping each other with makeup." Lizzie lied as her cheeks started to blush.

I blinked back into reality. "I knew you weren't straight, you two where so shagging in there."

"I umm please don't tell anyone." they both said in unison.

"Don't worry about it your secret is safe with me?" I stated, slightly unsure on what I have just discovered.

The pair make their way to exit the bathroom but before they do Sydney stays behind a little bit.

"Aurora, I'm sorry that you and Elle didn't work out and I'm sorry about how I acted." I nod, accepting her apology. "But please could you not tell anyone about me and Lizzie because I really like her."

"You have me word." I smiled.

"Thank you, it means a lot". she pulled me into a hug before she left.

What the fuck just happened?

The door suddenly swings open. But before I could see who it was they ran into one of the stalls. The next thing I knew I heard loud sobs coming from them. I decide to gently knock on their stall.

"Hey is everything okay?" I ask gently.

"NO EVERYTHING IS NOT OKAY, I DON'T HAVE A DATE TO PROM AND MY EX IS GAY." she shouted before opening the door.

Talia? I really am seeing everyone in the toilets tonight, maybe if I stay longer Elle could appear.

"Hey your okay, everything is going to be fine." I cooed.

"NOT YOU, WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE YOU." she shouted at me before returning to the cubicle.

"What's wrong with me?" I asked slightly confused.

"YOU BROKE ELLE'S HEART YOU DIPSHIT."

"Oh right yeah." I sighed. "I know you may not like me but if there is anything I can do then just tell me."

"Could I have a hug?" she asked, this time not shouting.

"I umm sure?"

The stall door opened once again. She then engulfed me into a tight hug which I then reciprocated. We stayed like that for a little while.

She pulled away. "I guess you want to know where she is now?" she asked.

"Yeah actually I kind of do."

"Okay I'll tell you if you promise not to do anything stupid and break her heart anymore. Promise?" she asked.

"Promise." I stated.

"She will most likely be by the buffet."

"Okay, thank you so much." I pulled her into another hug.

"No problem let's just never bring up the fact that you hugged me ever again, okay?"

"You asked m-"

She raised her eyebrow.

"My lips are sealed." and with that, I went to go and find Elle.

Sorry that I haven't updated till now again it's just that I have been really unmotivated and I've had some family issues, so Im sorry that it's been taking me like a month to update recently.
