Daisy (Part I & II)

Part II - Chapter 26

"So you two went on a date?" Bailey wiggles her eyebrows looking at me and Matteo. I blush hiding my face in Mattys shoulder.

"Have you two gone on a date?" Matteo fires back wiggling his eyebrows.

"Damn right we did. My question is how you got her brothers to let her go." Jade responds. I smile at that thought. He went through all that trouble just for me.

"It took a lot of persuasion." He laughs. "What about you Deja have you gone on any dates?"

"No however I got Xander's number tonight." She smirks. I smile at that.

"Don't let him get too cocky alright?" I smile at her.

This is so nice. Sitting here with my friends like normal kids. Sitting under the stars talking on a trampoline.

We spent the rest of the party that was meant for us, playing games outside. We played a game called tag. I sucked at it because it was dark but that's what made it fun. Then we played volleyball and I was on Baileys and Dejas team. I also sucked at that. We jumped on the trampoline and now we sit at the edge of the pool with our feet dipping in.

I don't think I've ever felt so alive.

"Want to swim?" Jade wiggles her eyebrows.

"I am down. What about your make up and dresses though?" Matty questions.

"They are just dresses." Bailey says. Deja cannon balls into the pool. Matteo goes and turns the pool lights on before coming back and jumping in as well.

Bailey slowly dips herself in but once she's in Jade jumps on her which starts a wrestling fight.

I stay in my spot though. I am still not a confident swimmer and the dress will be two heavy to float in.

"It's okay darling I've got you." Matteo wades over to me. He holds his arms out waiting for me. I shove my body into my arms and I am surrounded by the warm water.

"Ready Daisy?"

"Ready for wh-" I get cut off getting dunked under with Matty. When we come up I start laughing while clinging on to him.

"Chicken fight?" Bailey suggests. That gets a whole bunch of cheers from them. Out of no where I am moved on top of Mattys shoulders and now I am trying to push Bailey off of Jades shoulders.

Of course I win because I am awesome.

"Sorry!" I respond after pushing Bailey off of Jades shoulders.

"Don't be it's fun!" She laughs. We play this game and keep rotating. I am having so much fun.

The party is over and the kids are no where to be found. I know that they are outside so I wait to crash their party until I absolutely have to.

They missed Malakais big speech for them which he even mentioned getting a laugh from all the other mafias.

Kids will be kids.

Daisy looked so happy tonight and I just know she is over the moon about her friend Bailey. Henry mentioned that he did contact the girl years ago but I totally forgot about that.

Roman seems to have had a good night especially with Tanya. I'm proud of him. Noah hung out with some of his friends he's made through the years and Henry just talked with everyone. I saw Xan talking with Deja but once she disappeared he joined Dante and I.

Now the five of us plus Malakai. All stand near the back door watching them all playing in the pool.

"Who's going to be the bearer of bad news?" Henry questions.
