── first day with girls planet

ruiyi thanked her before taking long strides to the group of 32 girls in the middle circle. she set her bag down, not even having enough time to fully turn around before she was hugged by a slightly taller brunette. ruiyi froze in her spot before hearing the unknown girls voice, she let out a sound of shock as she hugged the girl back.

"why didn't you tell me you would be here!
?" the girl spoke in mock hurt as she pulled from the hug.

"i could say the same thing to you" ruiyi let out a deep chuckle.

"might as well take a picture" kim dayeon spoke causing the orange haired girl to jump back slightly, her eyes darting over to the black haired number one trainee.

"what do you mean?"

"you're staring" dayeon panned.

"no i wasn't!" kim suyeon huffed out with a slight pout that made dayeon coo at the slightly taller 03' liner.

"c'mon let's introduce you" xinyu gestured to the girls of c-group.

ruiyi remained quiet as she was brought over to the circle, xinyu's hand holding onto her arm rather tightly as she excitedly introduced ruiyi to everyone she knew.

"she's pretty" ruiyi nodded her head in the direction of a tall girl with long orange hair and sparkling doe eyes.

"who?... ahh thats xiaoting jie, c-group's center" xinyu explained before feeling a pair of eyes looking in their directions.

"oh? seems like my best friend has an admirer already" xinyu jokes and playfully pushed ruiyi to which the younger sent the black haired girl a death glare.

"i'm starving" ruiyi ran a hand through her hair as she sighed.

"excuse me" a light yet polite voice sounded from behind ruiyi.

ruiyi turned and met the eyes of the beautiful orange haired girl from c-group. she had a mask on but ruiyi could just tell the center was smiling behind the white cover up.

"i have snacks if you'd like" the shorter added on as she held up a snickers bar and a water bottle. ruiyi nodded and reached out to grab the snacks before she felt a skinny yet muscular arm wrap around her shoulders. the same person wrapping their other arm around xiaoting.

"hello my love" the silver haired girl smiled teasingly at her best friend before looking at ruiyi. "you look taller than before"

"this is our first time meeting in person" ruiyi deadpanned to which the silver haired girl smacked her lips.

"i meant in your pictures"

"is everything okay, ruiqi?" xiaoting questioned.

"just wanted to introduce my two friends to each other" ruiqi shrugged as she released her hold on the taller two, her under arms aching slightly. "xiaoting, this is shi ruiyi or hyunjae to some of the girls in k-group, ruiyi this is shen xiaoting, we were on produce camp together last year"

"oh really?" ruiyi met xiaoting's gaze before they both looked down at their silver haired friend.

"there's a few girls here that participated in survival shows" ruiqi hummed as she looked around, ruiyi followed her gaze and recognized a lot of the girls. "if you ever need a translator, ruiyi is the perfect person to go to"
