"can I have lunch with you?"

no replies even strumbled from his mouth, which he was starting to become annoyed with the girl.

"Juyeon-ah, can we walk home together?"

still, he didn't respond to anything so she just followed him from behind, making her feel gloomy, whilst she didn't realize that she was walking too close to the middle of the road.

then, when he realized that a fast car was coming towards them, he gladly noticed her and quickly pulled her into his embrace-- going to the roadside.

"Gosh, that was close," mumbled himself, as he hugged her tightly, making the girl's heart was pounding abnormally. she shocked by herself that she almost got hit by a car- and she just realized that she was in his tight embrace.

'my heart, are you okay?'

a slight blush crept over, as he felt that atmosphere became awkward so he just broke the hug, glancing at her.

"Just walk beside me after this, y/n.

and please, stop daydreaming," he flicked on her forehead before walking away from her, making her face blush more.

he just called my name!

"hi, juyeon!"

she smiled happily as she knew that they'll be in the same group with him, plus Kevin too-- for a competition soon.

"oh, Kevin's here too!" she waved to the boy, and he replied with a small wave too.

"Okay, so you guys will be in a competition, juyeon will be in charge of math, y/n will be in charge of physics and Kevin will be in charge of biology, you get me?" the teacher gave them some test papers so they could do it together. they all just nodded and started doing some exercises-- whilst she was on cloud nine that she could spend more time with her new crush-- well, her feelings developed even more after the incidents happened and she still try to be close to him.

but then, as the competition was getting closer, she overworked herself and she always skipped her meals-- as the fact that he realize it, but he didn't want to take care of it.

as they met again for the last meeting before the competition, he realized that she was doing some more practices- looking gloomy.

"y/n-ah, are you okay? you look pale,"

"y-yeah, I'm fine," she put a weak smile while her hand was still doing some questions, and she woke up from her seat to ask help from the teacher-- but she ended up falling on the ground.

"Min y/n!"

after a few hours, she finally opened her eyes half, feeling a slight heavy on her hand--as she felt someone was holding onto her hands.

she smiled.

because it's him.

her one and only crush.

he realized that her hand was moving, he finally woke up from his daydream- and he also finally noticed that he'd actually been holding onto her hand since he came there.

"s-sorry," he tried to loosen their interlocked hands,

but she held it tighter.
