Chapter 12

Alec raises a brow. I have the feeling he was messing with me.

"Can't I, now?" he says with a low voice, but I hear him perfectly.

"No!" I raise my voice to make it clear. If that woman called Elena had heard him, I would probably be bleeding on the floor.

And then someone will have the tedious work of replacing the expensive carpet. Pity.

Alec just laughs. Laughs! And start walking toward me. No, he starts stalking me. He has a predatory look on his face, and instead of feeling dread, my wolf was thrilled! My insides churn in anticipation and I feel my body getting hot.

Damn. It was of no help that he looked like the incarnation of a Greek god.

"Last time I checked, you are my mate and..."

Before he finishes the sentence, he was already in front of me, pinning me to the wall. My breathing was rushed, our breath mixing, and his scent engulfed my nose and suddenly, I stop thinking correctly.

Where was I, now?

I feel his face in the crook of my neck and couldn't contain the moan that escaped my mouth when he started biting my skin, gracing his lips all over like a feather caress and then I feel his hot tongue tasting all the length of my shoulder and neck.

Right now, I'm trashing against the wall and his arms snake around me to keep me still, pressing me flush against him, making me feel all his ripped muscles and most importantly, his hard erection that was grinding against my girls part and I let my head fall back, moaning like a damn cat in heat.

Damn, this was not fair, but damn he felt so good.

"Mhmm..." he groans pressing his groin against me and I was so close to sending all my resolves to shit and just letting him take me back to his chambers so he can make me his. "So... Are you going to deny me the pleasure of touching and tasting my own mate?" he wonders, and I didn't think he was expecting me to answer, due to the state I was in. Fuck. Who knew mates can make you feel like this? It's just insane!

"Uh..." I mumble, not able to depart from him, my arms secured around his neck.

"Yes? What was that?" he says and I can sense some mocking in his tone.

"Fuck you" I pant, gathering my witts enough to say something coherent.

"I'd love to fuck you instead" He replies and pull away from me, his smirk wide on his face. I frown at him.

"I want to leave" I say and he laughs softly again. I don't know why, but I could sense some darkness under his laugh and demeanor, like he was trying really hard to hold back his lycan at the mention of my wish to leave.

"Not happening, my love"

"Just watch me, then!" I spat and duck to get out of his hold, but he is faster, and in a second I'm being thrown over his shoulder, my face really damn close to his butt. "Hey!" I yell. "Put me down, you caveman!"

In response, he slaps my ass. I yelp wanting to soothe the sting in that area but is kinda hard at the moment, given the position I was in.

Just to annoy him, I bite his butt cheek through his jeans.

Suddenly he puts me down on a seat and stares at me with an amused expression.

"Did you just bite my ass?" he asks and hear laughs and giggles around me and I discover I was now sitting at a big table that was filled with breakfast food and around were his friends. I feel my cheeks turning red.

"I..." I stammer, not knowing what to say in my defense, because yes, I bit his ass, and I would do it again. Preferably with no clothes in the middle.

"We were waiting for you, Riley" says Carmen, I remember her for her curly brown-reddish hair, button nose, and pecks around the nose.

"You were?" I ask surprised. She crooks her head, confused at my reaction.

"Why, yes. You are one of us now" she smiles sweetly and my heart makes a painful twist. Was I, really? They don't seem to be aware of Alec's plans. Didn't Alec tell them that he decided to mate with a more powerful and high-ranking lycan than his destined mate?

Weird.

I guess now I have to find an opening to leave this place before that bitch finds me.
