Outside of Matteo's head

Wanda looked down at Matteo before she looked at Vision who had a worried look on his face. "He needs me..h-he need us all..he need h-help Vis.." Wanda said quietly as she then looked down at the broken boy that's asleep in her arms. "I know darling.. I know.." vision said quietly before he made her lean against him. Wanda just looked down at Matteo with a sad look before she soon drifted asleep.

Time skip

Matteo was awake and now sitting in front of Wanda and Vision. He was sitting off while looking down at his arms that contained many looking scars from the electric burns, the whips, and the past fight scars. Matteo woke up on his own and this time without another traumatizing dream. He was proud of himself again and this time he felt head empty and felt as if his head was clear for once.

As Matteo was looking down at his scars he heard a voice. "Hey bug." Nat said. Matteo flinched a bit before he looked up and seen her. "H-hi.." he spoke out before he looked down at his hands. "You know. You scared me. I thought you where really gone.. I didn't know what I would do without my buggy." Nat said as she squatted down next to Matteo. Matteo didn't know what to say, he just sat there in silence and just watched Wanda and Vision sleep peacefully. "You know. She really missed you. Along with everyone.. but she took it way harder than anyone else.."Nat said. Matteo nodded as he soon looked back at Nat. "Well.. good thing is you have us. And we won't leave you. We will protect you and keep you safe again. Just like family." Nat said as she soon ruffled matteos hair. Matteo gave her a small smile before he nodded "o-ok.." he answered. Nat just smiled sadly before she went off to go get ready for landing. Matteo just smiled a bit before he started to soon pick at his fingers.

Time skip

Matteo was now walking behind Wanda and everyone up to the compound. Once he followed them all inside he stopped and looked around. His old home that he taken away by. He then looked towards everyone that was still walking. Matteo looked around again before he soon dashed up to his old room not even bothered on following everyone again.

Right as the young Maximoff made it to his old room he just stood in the doorway. He seen how everything was left the exactly the same when he wasn't here for the 2 years he was 'dead.' Matteo soon walked in and started to look around at the old drawings and small little things that where around.Right as the young Maximoff got to his old drawing of him with Wanda and Pietro who had a halo. He just frowned, he then looked outside then back at the drawing. Before he knew it he was running down the compound hallway.

Right when Matteo was on his way out of the compound he stopped and looked everyone who just turned and looked at him again. Matteo trembled a bit "I-I..um..I need air.." Matteo blurted out before he soon ran out of the compound. Everyone looked at each other with a sad look but Wanda and Vision both gave each other the same look. As Matteo was running he looked back and sighed. Matteo was now slowly walking and making his way towards Pietros grave.

Right as the young Maximoff made it to the grave he sat down and let out a shaky breath. "H-hey Bubby..s-sorry I haven't came to see y-you.." Matteo said sadly. "I Uh..I was abandoned by Tony..you would have hated that..but I got another bubba! His name I so-peter..I call him Pete..he's really funny. You would have loved him.. I also went to school for a while!.. it was cool..but then I stoped going..b-because I 'died'.." Matteo started to rant. "I-uh.. after I died..Pete and Tony where really sad..I have a memorial along the r-river in Queens..I-uh..I also got captured by Malik a-again.." Matteo said before he stood wiped his tears that where slipping down his cheeks. "I had to kill s-so many people..I didn't want to but I c-count stop!..I couldn't f-feel V-Vis..or Sissy anymore!..I lost my memories!" Matteo sobbed out. He then took a shaky breath again and looked at the grave "b-but I soon broke free..after that I was on my own.. b-but hey.. I finally got myself to find mama..she seemed happy but now things are turning out b-bad again.." Matteo said sadly.

As he was ranting Wanda was walking up. She just watched and listened and Matteo was ranting out how he was and what happened. "Im..u-useless. And I-I'm a monster Bubby..I never meant to do t-the things I did..I just wanted to s-stay safe..a-and keep Pete..safe from t-those bad men.." Matteo blurted out before he soon just broke down. Wanda had tears in her eyes, she soon walked over to him and sat down next to him. She then pulled Matteo in for a hug. Matteo tensed up and just cried "mama.." Matteo sobbed out before he turned to her and just started to cry into her. Wanda held him close before she started to rub his back. "Shhh..I know..I know..I'm here..I'm here Bubba.." Wanda said sadly. She then looked at the grave before she then looked down at Matteo who es clinging onto her for dear life.

After a while Matteo soon stopped his crying, he then looked at the grave with his red puffy eyes. He felt Wanda's warmth and sadness all together while they sat there and looked at their brothers grave. "I-I miss him mama.." Matteo said quietly. "I miss him too baby.." Wanda said as she soon put her head ontop of Matteo's head. The both of them just stared at the grave before they both got up and went back into the compound to get freshened up and be together before the big fight. Their home.
