46. The Snap

As Matteo was watching he smiled at how he knew that Thor was here now. "Go Thor go!" Matteo cheered on before he soon felt himself get picked up. "H-hey!" Matteo blurted out as he soon seen Wanda look down at him. "I told you to stay over there." Wanda stated as she pointed over to the corner. "But..it looks cool out there.." Matteo said sadly. Wanda just shook her head before she took Matteo over to where Vision was being operated on. Wanda then put Matteo down and put her hand on the back of Matteo's head. Matteo looked up at her before he looked at Vision, he then seen how he  the sone was starting to get out. Wanda just sighed and closed her eyes a bit, Matteo just watched he then looked over at Shuri to see her working hard.

As Matteo was standing next to Wanda keeping her and Vision company he soon felt the ground rumble a bit. Matteo wondered if Wanda could feel it aswell, he then looked over at the window and squinted his eyes a bit. Before he knew it he heard the loud rumbling, he then walked over to the window to see what's going on. Right as he got to the window he felt Wanda's hand go on his shoulder. Matteo seen the burning trees from afar start to fall, he tilted his head a bit before he soon seen the ground start to go up a bit. The young Maximoff soon stepped back a bit and bumped into Wanda. Wanda just watched as she soon held onto Matteo's shoulders.

Before they knew it they both watched as big wheels pop up from the ground. Matteo's eyes widened before he watched as the wheels go into the battle field. "FALL BACK! FALL BACK NOW!" Was all Matteo heard from Shuris coms. Matteo watched as everyone started to flee away from the wheels and kept on fighting. "M-mama.." Matteo said in a shaky voice. "I know baby I know.." Wanda said before she soon pulled him away from the window and behind her. Wanda then looked away from the window with a sad look. Matteo looked up at her before he knew what she was thinking about.

"Mama..n-no.." Matteo said sadly. Wanda kneeled down to Matteo's level "I have to..they need me. I'll be back with you I promise.." Wanda said sadly before she looked into Matteo's eyes. "No..please.." he said before he soon felt tears start to prick up. "I'll be back. Now.. you and me both have the same powers ok.. I want you to blow the stone up when Shuri gets it out of visions head ok?" Wanda said before she soon kissed his head. Matteo sniffled before he nodded "o-ok..I will.." Matteo said sadly. "I love you. And I will always be with you.." Wanda said before she looked at Matteo with a smile. "Ill always be with you..I love you too mama.." Matteo said sadly. Before he knew it he watched as Wanda ran out the room. Matteo looked out the window before he looked over at Vision still getting operated on.

Matteo soon looked back out the window, he watched as the wheels started to go roll along into more people. He then watched as they stopped and started to float up having a red glare around them. Matteo smiled and watched as the wheels get thrown down on their sides. "Go mama go!" Matteo cheered quietly before he continued to watch his sister fight along in the battle field.

Before he knew it he had a bad gut feeling, Matteo furrowed his eyebrows again but he still watched the battle go on outside. As he was watching he heard screaming coming down from the hallway. Matteo quickly looked over and seen the same alien guy from Scotland. His eyes widened before he watched Shuri and a guard get taken down from trying to fight him. Matteo soon looked over at vision who has gotten up and quickly looked like he was about to fight. Matteo grinned his teeth before he made his hands into fists "n-not my papa." Matteo said in a low voice. He then ran over and used his wisps to attack the alien. "LEAVE MY PAPA ALONE! YOU MONSTER!" Matteo yelled out before he soon started to use his speed to run around the alien and punch him. "Your a real monster aswell!" The alien blurted out before he grabbed Matteo by his collar of his shirt. Matteo let out a grunt as he looked the alien into his eyes "you will die alone. Just like Your Mama and Papa." The alien blurted out before he soon threw Matteo out the window. Matteo's eyes widened, he soon started to scream. The boy then closed his eyes tightly before he braced himself for the pain of the ground.
