Camilo's Got a Girlfriend

She glanced at me uncertainly before pulling off a piece and extending it out to me. Just before I could grab it she pulled it back and put it in her mouth.

Seconds before I could react she yanked me forwards by my shirt collar. Her lips connected with mine. I could taste the sweet flavor of the cotton candy on her lips.

She pulled away with a smirk.

"Wow I'm a bad influence." I grinned.

"No, you're a terrible influence." She corrected me intertwining our hands.

A giddy smile formed on my face.

God I can't believe she's mine.

My eyes couldn't leave her perfect features. The way her hair fell perfectly, but somehow was still a mess.  Her (e/c) eyes glowed in the light.

The warmth from her hand, which fit so perfectly into mine, caused a warm feeling in my chest.

Suddenly I felt cold drop of water splash onto my face. I jumped back in surprise accidentally pulling Y/N with me as I fell into the lake. Luckily we were in the shallow end.

"Uh-"

We both burst out laughing at the sight of each other soaked from the water.

"What was that for?" I said through laughter.

"You were completely spaced out! I said your name several times but you didn't respond. So I splashed you with a bit of water." She paused, "But I didn't expect you to fall in and pull me with you!"

She started laughing again so I splashed her.

"Hey!"

In retaliation she jumped at me to which I caught her. Surprise flashed across her face. Quickly she snuggled into my neck.

"Ugh you're making hard for me to throw you into the water mercilessly." I groaned.

"I know." She giggled.

"We should probably get out of the water now."

"Yeah." I agreed before dropping her straight into the water.

"gAh!" She yelped, "Camilo!"

"I'm sorry Mi Vida, I had too."

"Mhm."

We quickly got out of the water.

"Geez it's cold." Y/N gasped

"I would offer you my ruana, but I can't cause you know, it's also soaked."

"What. I wanna wear your ruana!"

"But it's wet-"

"I don't care! Give. Now."

I gave her the ruana, making sure to ring as much water out of it as I could before handing it to her. She threw it over her head and spun around.

"Look at me I'm Camilo, I love bullying my poor girlfriend." She mocked me.

"Don't make me take it back." I warned.

"Nooo!"

"Alright it's probably safe to head back to Casita now. Hopefully."

Time skip brought to you by the fact that someone in real life named Victoria Torres is actually a boxer and could beat my ass.

As we approached the house I noticed my father was nowhere to be seen.

"Where's your dad?" Y/N asked.

"That's what I was about to ask." I told her, "Maybe he went in cause it's safe for us to go in."

"Probably, I'm not really worried anyways." She shrugged.

I headed towards the front door, Casita clacked some tiles at me, but I didn't know why. Y/N followed behind me without a care in the world.

When we walked into the main area of the house, we had the living shit scared out of us by my family.

"Camilo has a girlfriend!" My mamá yelled as we walked in.

Heat rose into my face, dear god this is embarrassing.

"What are you guys doing!" I asked frantically then I spotted my father, "You were in on this!"

"Oh cariño, we're just excited for you." My mamá smiled.

"And we might as well celebrate cause honestly we didn't expect you to be able to date anyone." Mirabel added.

"What- What's that supposed to mean!" I asked, offended

"Sorry Camilo I was dragged into this." My father said.

I looked behind me to see Y/N was laughing hysterically. Suddenly someone appeared from the kitchen.

"Dios mio! You guys got Ben in on this too!" Y/N gasped as her uncle appeared.

"They just told me to come..." Ben shrugged.

"Camilo your family is amazing." Y/N laughed.

Her comment made me remember she didn't have this. Growing up she didn't have the same bond with her family as I do. Maybe someday she'll experience it as a part of this family one day.

A/N

So quick update that's not really all that relevant but I thought we could take a break from the series thing I have going on. Next chapter we will continue with the next family member

For those of you wondering Mirabel and Camilo will be the last ones that's why I didn't include them.

Also I probably won't have Y/N spend a day with Félix or Agustín. As much as I love them, they don't have much character development as the others, other than being amazing husbands and dads, so I most likely won't include them.
