"What happened?" Julieta asked.

"I got cut." I held my hand up showing the wound.
Y/N flinched at the sight, it was bleeding pretty badly, it cut a lot deeper than expected.

"Hold on," Julieta searched through a small plate of arepas and took one from the bottom. She then handed it to me and without a second thought I ate it.

Within minutes the cut healed itself and the pain melted away.

"Why did you give me one from the bottom of the pile." I asked because it was kind of cold.

"Because the rest we're made by Y/N." She responded.

Y/N was watching our conversation as she leaned up against the counter. She smiled at me and gave me a little wave. A spark flew.

No literally an actual spark flew into the air.

"Uh Y/N!" I got her attention.

One of the arepas on the stovetop had caught fire, due to the spark.

"AGH! Oh shit!" She panicked trying to put it out.

Suddenly the fire died when the whole arepa froze.

"Well that's one way to put out a fire." Julieta said.

Y/N face still held a panicked look although the cause for worry was gone.

"Julieta! I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to! It was an accident!" Y/N choked out with heavy breaths.

"Hey it's okay Y/N, no one got hurt." Julieta was quick to respond.

"But someone could've gotten hurt or something could've been damaged."

Y/N was shaking and not meeting either of our gazes. I almost stepped in there but I knew it was best to let my tia talk to her first.

"But that didn't happen. You can make mistakes." Julieta pulled Y/N into a hug.

Y/N was frozen for a second, then tears fell down her face.

"Hey, why are you crying? If it makes you feel any better when I tried to teach Ben to cook he almost burned his house down.

"Sorry-" Y/N started.

"Don't apologize."

"Oh sor- I mean okay, it's just my mom always just expected me to be able to learn these things on my own... but-" she took a moment to regain control of her breath, "You're telling me the exact opposite and... thank you."

More tears streamed down her face as she talked about the past.

God I hated her mother. That woman didn't deserve a daughter. Y/N deserves so much better, but she's still so strong. I mean she had to put up with it for years.

But even with negative thoughts a smile made it's way to my face. My tia was able to show Y/N the exact kind of motherly care she missed out on.

When they let go of the embrace Y/N wasn't crying anymore.

"Thanks for helping me with the food mija, but I think someone's waiting for you." Julieta said.

"Oh?" Y/N glanced over to me. "Right."

We walked out of the room together. I stopped once we were out.

"You okay?" I grabbed her hand.

"Mhm."

I cupped her face in my hands,

"You sure?"

"Yes Milo." She laughed at stubbornness.

"Good." I said before placing gentle kisses all over her face.

"GAh! Camilo! Stop ittt!" She gasped.

My lips formed into a teasing grin before I finally left a soft kiss on her lips.

"Aw that's all?" She whined.

"Never."

For a second time I placed my lips on hers, but this time they didn't just linger for a moment.

A/N

I'm tired anyways who's next Antonio or Luisa?
