"Error?" Killer barely registered where he run off to, so he hurried after him, still pushing the cart. He could technically just leave it, but he needed it for something.
Fortunately he managed to catch up and when he did, he understood. The black-boned skeleton was in the aisle with lamps.
"Now I see why you ran off." He wheezed.
Error didn't turn into his direction, but nodded. It was kind of bright here, but also quite beautiful, thanks to different colored lights. They kind of reminded him of stars in Outertale.
"Pretty right? I kind of wish we had a room full of different lamps in the castle." Killer commented.
"You know what..." Error hummed. "That does sound pretty great."
They stood there for a while, before deciding that they had enough and returned to the trolley. Besides, Killer said that he wanted to show his teammate something else. They went through some aisles, and at some point Killer decided to start running and even cling to the cart, without touching the floor. Error felt like he probably should say something, but he was actually having fun and getting really giddy.
"Wait here for a while and close your eyes okay?" Killer asked once they stopped and started speed-walking into what to Error seemed like a random direction.
"Ok, but if you do something weird to me, then I swear." Error warned, but only half-seriously and did as requested.
After a moment he felt something soft, or rather a lot of somethings, landing on him and he opened his eyes in surprise, seeing that he was basically sitting in a pile of...
"Plushies, really?"
"Yup." Killer answered proudly.
"Wait, isn't it supposed to be furniture store? Why are those in there?" Error asked, astonished, but got comfortable in the pile, practically huddling to it.
"I dunno." The other shrugged. "You do seem to enjoy it though."
"Yeah, fuck you. I'm going to sleep in them if I want to." And with that Error rolled over onto his other side and laid comfortably.
Killer couldn't help but laugh at that sight. "Okay, if you say so, I'm going to "try out" the beds."
"The beds?" Error asked, but found out that Killer has already ran off somewhere. Still, he didn't feel like getting up. He didn't even care that he probably looked ridiculous, laying in the shopping cart of all places, covered in plushies, in the middle of the store.
Maybe he could actually fall asleep like that, but he was still feeling too giddy to do so, plus it was starting to get uncomfortable in the small space. Eventually he decided to get off the cart, almost falling it over in the process.
He looked around and managed to spot Killer, who was on one of the beds, basically bouncing on it. He teleported to him.
"So that's what you meant by "trying out"?"
"Mhhhm." Killer stopped for a while and looked at him. "You wanna join?"
Error hesitated for only a second. "You know what, I do. Move over."
He did so and soon they were both jumping up and down. They were in such goofy mood, they couldn't help but laugh, as if they were watching the funniest comedy ever.
It took a while before they were too tired to continued and both skeletons basically face-planted into the pillows.
"Ehehe, hehe thahat was ridiculous." Error huffed out between his breaths, but he had a giant smile on his face. "Anyway, maybe we should go before we actually break the thing?"
"Hahaha, I would be more worried about security." Killer giggled in response.
"Mm, maybe, so should we go back home now?"
"In a while, just one more thing."
With that they got up and quickly made their way to the left trolley and walked away from the mess they made.
"So where are we going now?" Error asked following his friend, still in a giggly mood.
"We need to find the longest aisle possible, where there aren't any people." Killer explained, practically hopping in place.
It took them a while, but they managed to find a good enough place.
"So what now?" Error asked, wondering what exactly they were doing here.
"Right, so first get back in the cart." Killer gestured and Error did as so. "Second hold on tight and third get ready to teleport."
Before he could ask about the teleport part, he felt Killer pushing the cart and going faster than ever. He then held onto it not touching the floor and let out an excited howl. Error couldn't help, but giggle at the speed, especially when he realized what they were about to do.
They went like that for a few more seconds and moments before the cart collided with a nearby shelf, both skeletons teleported away to another aisle.
"Wohoo!" Killer yelled. "Wasn't that fun?"
"It was stupid." Error replied, through his excited giggles.
Killer just chuckled. "Okay, we can leave now."
"More like have to." The other skeleton said under his breath and quickly opened a portal back to the mansion.
Both skeletons then proceeded to go through, with big, goofy smiles on their faces. When they stepped out the first thing they saw was Nightmare, who was sitting and reading a book, but upon their arrival and seeing their expressions he quirked a brow.
"What are you two so happy about?" He asked
The newcomers just looked at each other.
"Err, we had a little trip." Error said.
"...So how is your free day going?"
"Ah, well, let's just say, sofa so good." Stars, Killer was really rubbing off on him.
