Felix x reader-snowy Holliday 2*

At the entrance of the fortress my brother helped me down and carried me in, to let me sit on a small sofa in the main hall "Glenn, what do you think about it?" I asked him knowing full well he was the only one who knew about healing magic

After just a minute he answered "it's not that bad, but for today and tomorrow you'll have to rest, but don't worry, we have all week and even more to skii" "meanwhile have fun, I won't force you to stay here and get bored with me" I said, already thinking about which book I had to grab "you have to rest your ankle, but it doesn't mean you can't sit on the snow and play with us instead of staying here!" Ingrid said "it's a good idea, I don't even have to change, ok, let's go!"

Outside I saw that Felix was a bit less cold around me, I mean whenever a snowball came my direction he'd "slip and fall" casually interjecting the hit

and if any snowball actually hit me he would get closer and check if anything was wrong, he never asked anything, but I could see his suspect behaviour

after a pair of hours of games I started to feel cold and tired "guys, I want to head back inside" I said shivering "don't worry, I'll take her in, I was tired and a bit cold anyway, you can keep playing " Felix said "alright, have fun you two" after his statement Sylvain had even the courage to smirk and wink at us, I stuck out my tongue at him, and Felix just turned his head spitting his signature 'tsk', he then proceeded to pick me up and carry me back to the fortress

Once back inside we he sat me on the bed in my room, and just motioned to leave, "Felix!" I called out wanting to ask him about his weird behaviour, I could  see he was worried, but I could also see that he was trying to hide it, but at the last second i chickened out "can you bring me a glass of water please?" "Tsk, fine, I'll be back in a second" and so I just sat there in that awkward silence

a second later the door opened again "Felix?" Oh, I couldn't be more wrong, it was my brother, Miklan "so that's where you went off whenever I couldn't find you" he was still mad at us about what happened this morning, because I helped Sylvain flee, but most of all because I existed

With all the strength I had I managed to get up, but I couldn't run, he was blocking the entrance, his lance in hand he ran towards me trying to stab my chest, he's a heavy unit, blocking was  out of the question, the only thing I could do was doge, but due to the reduced mobility this plan didn't work

I ended up with his lance sticking in my shoulder, I screamed in pain and fall back, was this really how I died? without having said goodbye to my brother, without having said goodbye to Felix, My eyes were wide open to see Miklan ready to end me, but the door slammed open once more "y/n, I heard you screaming are you..." it's Felix, when he saw Miklan he dropped the glass, grabbing the sword that he thankfully brings wherever he goes "not on my watch, scum" he said

In a second he ran between Miklan and I, shielding me "killing one brat or two won't make a difference " Miklan scoffed, Felix just raised his sword in response, I gripped my shoulder tightly trying to stop the bleeding but to no avail

Felix is surely younger than Miklan and smaller in stature too, but what he lacks i height he more than made up for in agility and speed

his swordplay was, and to this day still is something special, it's fast, smooth and so elegant that it looks like he's dancing with his blade. He sure gave Miklan a really hard time, dodging his every slash, and slowly but steadily cracking his armour.

Seeing Felix getting more tiered hit after hit and minute after minute I decided to recycle the strategy I used this morning, the jump out of the window,

I took the whistle out of my pocket and called for help, and jumped out just as I did this morning, but as I was waiting for Felix to jump with me he didn't "Felix, we got a way out, come with me!" I yelled "we're not gonna make it both, go and call the others up" Felix huffed "no, please, jump, we can make it both!" " y/n, he has a mini bow, if we both flee he'll shoot us, go call the others" "but Felix..." he interrupted me "no buts y/n , I love you, so I'll protect you, or I'll die trying"

I jumped on my whivern and flew to call the others, Felix left his life in my hands and I won't fail him "GUYS, THER'S AN EMERGENCY MIKLAN IS HERE! " I scream catching the other's attention my brother ran towards me "y/n, your shoulder... " but I almost immediately cut him off "no time to argue about this, Felix is fighting Miklan! You have to help him"

we all flew as fast as we could to reach them, the others left me outside on the snow to keep me as far as possible from the fight, while my brother helped me to stop the bleeding, a minute later the fighting stopped, and Sylvain brought me back inside, all the others were in my room

As soon as we entered the room I looked Felix closely, to see if he was alright, when I lifted my gaze our eyes met and he started walking towards us "he was injured but he managed to flee" he says looking away "he was injured pretty badly, he's not gonna come back in less then a week" Ingrid said, staying here is risky, but I don't care, as long as my friend are here to protect me I feel safe

"Alright y/n, I'll lay you on your bed, lunch will be ready soon" brother said leaving the room, alongside the group "Felix, can you stay with me, i know that a lightning can't strike in the same spot twice, but I don't feel comfortable staying alone" he just looked at me and smiled, his smiles are as beautiful as rare "sure, we need to talk anyway " "is it about what happened with Miklan?" I asked him trying to sit up without moving my harmed shoulder, Felix helped me up, and sat right next to me " I want you to know that I meant every word I said, because I'm not gonna say it twice" he said resting his hand on my shoulder

he usually is not much for physical contact, so it's easy to guess how flustered must we both be "Felix, I... I love you too" he shoots up, as if he wasn't expecting this answer "y-you do? I mean, I'm really glad you do! " I leaned my head into his shoulders and closed my eyes breathing heavily, I felt his hand shaking my hair, and he left a small kiss on my forehead, I fell asleep then and there...
