Waking up

"I can't believe this." Jiu said and sat down as well.

She looked even paler then befor.

"Y/n is always so strong. It seemes that nothing can happen to her. She seemes to be indestructible. Seeing her like this breaks my heart." The pale girl added.

"Same goes for me. She made sure that I didn't got hurt. She tried to protect me. I think if I didn't told her to go public with our relationship, this wouldn't have happend." Dami sniffed.

Big tears rolled down her cheeks, as she tried to avoid the other girls eyes.

"Don't blame yourself. It was Handongs fault. She did this." Yooyeon replied and gestured at Y/ns face.

"Y/n will soon wake up and be alright." Jiu said.

"Yes, she will." Dami whipsered.

The two other girls stayed for a while, but then it was time for them to go. Befor they left, they made sure that Dami was alright. Again Dami was alone with her thoughts.

"Please wake up soon. I need you." The black haired girl sniffed and buried her face in her own hands.

She started to cry uncontrolably. It was to much for her. Her feelings ran wild. Guilt and sadness took over and made her feel like shit. After a moment she was able to control her emotions again.

"Do you know how much I care about you?" Dami whispered and looked at Y/ns beat up face. "Do you know how happy you make me? How I love it when you study with me? How much I love it when you smile?"

She brushed over Y/ns cheek with her fingertips, as her gace softened.

"I brought a book. I know you can't read now, but I heard that people who were in a coma could hear everything while sleeping, so let me read to you." The black haired girl explained.

She pulled out the book she brought with her. She was not sure if Y/n could actually hear her, but it was the best thing that came to her mind.

"I don't know if you will like it. It's a love story. Well kind of." Dami smiled.

She opened the book and started to read out loud.

Later:

Damis pov:

She was still at the hospital. Siyeon and Sua had stoped by earlier and stayed for and hour. After that Y/ns mother came and had some good news. She had called the principal of the school and they agreed to suspend Handong from school until the case was further investigated. The principal didn't wanted to involve the police just yet, but Y/ns mother had other plans. She already had informed the police and the were already investigate on the case.

They searched for witnesses and other evidence. One of them stopped by and asked for Y/ns medical record. She also documented every injury of Y/n with photos.

Dami was not aloud to be in the Y/ns room, while the documented it. She didn't wanted to let Y/n alone with a stranger, but she had no other choice. After the police officer left, she immediatley rushed to her girlfriends side.

"I hope you are not in pain, my baby." Dami said and took Y/ns hand again in her own.

Dami didn't often used petnames for her girlfriend and when she did she liked to put the word "my" infront of it. Petnames like my baby or my love were her favorite.

It was already late, but she didn't wanted to leave. Her eyes got heavier with time and she barly could keep them open. After a while she slowly drifted of to sleep, while holding Y/ns hand.

The next morning:

Y/ns pov:

You heard everything. All the things that your friends and mother had said and of course what your girlfriend told you. You felt happy when she had read to you. Her soft voice filled your ears and you wanted to cry, but your body was not under your contol.
