"Are you listening, Yugi Amane?" He questioned him, raising his voice in annoyance.
"You're so pushy, Tsuchigomori-sensei." Amane finally answered him, turning his head away from the older male.
"You little-" Tsuchigomori quickly stopped himself, his face now portraying a sense of concern. "Listen. I'm worried about you."
He finally looked at Tsuchigomori with wondering eyes, "About what? This? It's totally fine. I don't really mind."
"Well, I do." Tsuchigomori bluntly stated, grasping at Amane's shoulders and causing the boy to look up at him from the sudden action. "What reason could possibly justify hurting someone like-"
"It's fine!" Amane yelled, cutting his teacher off. Tsuchigomori backed away, taking his hands off of Amane's shoulders, "Even if it's not justified... even if there's no reason..." Amane continued, standing up from his seat as Tsuchigomori stared at him, "...I don't mind."
Tsuchigomori looked down at the young boy in pity, eyebrows furrowed and a visible frown on his face. After all, he knew about everything that was happening in his life. He had read his book in the Library, he knew his past, and he knew that what he was going through now wasn't anything pretty. But the worst part of it all was that he knew it was going to continue getting worse for the next few weeks.
"Geez, you sound like [Nickname]-chan. Always so worried..." Amane chuckled lightly to himself before staring down and continuing, "Guess what, Sensei. I've got a moon rock."
"Huh?" Tsuchigomori questioned, looking dumbfounded as he sweatdropped at his outrageous claim.
"It happened when I was four, I think." Amane carried on, fishing for something in his pocket before pulling a small rock out, "It landed right in front of me. Would you believe me if I said it's real?" He asked Tsuchigomori, showing him the rock as the teacher leant down to take a look.
After examining the supposed 'moon rock', Tsuchigomori gave out a strained groan before eventually telling Amane the truth, "No..."
"Yeah, I figured!" Amane let out a laugh, a smile gracing his face, "But we believe it's real. Whatever anyone says, it's a moon rock." He affirmed, before running towards the chalk board and writing on it using a chalk stick, "How far apart do you think the moon and the Earth are? It's... 380,000 kilometres!" He proudly answered, writing the number on the board and underlining it while letting out a few giggles and looking towards his teacher with a grin, his honey eyes gleaming in adoration, "That means this rock travelled all that way from the moon. Isn't that amazing? It's my treasure."
Tsuchigomori let out a sigh, shaking his head as he looked towards the young boy, "Yugi, we're not talking about the moon, we're talking about-"
"Oh! Look!" Amane cut him off, running towards the window and opening it wide open.
"Listen-!" Tsuchigomori angrily snapped, glaring at Amane as an irk mark appeared on his forehead.
"Sensei! You can already see the moon today! Too bad the view isn't as pretty as the one you get from [Nickname]-chan's music room, maybe you should ask the school if you can swap rooms!" Amane continued with a smile, disregarding the annoyed glare from his teacher as the faint sound of a piano could be heard from above.
Tsuchigomori noticed the bandage he had just tied around Amane's arm became loose and was slowly unravelling. Heaving a sigh he went towards the first aid kit again to grab some more bandages so he could replace the ones that were falling off.
"Have you ever wanted to go to the moon, Sensei?"
"What?" Being caught by surprise, Tsuchigomori simply replied before his eyes widened in shock as he noticed Amane stood out on the window ledge.
