When you landed back at the palace Thor was waiting for you a victorious look on his face.
"You took your time" he smirks.
You roll your eyes shoving him playfully "I will beat you one day" you retort.
"Come on we have business to do" Thor chuckles before turning to walk into the throne room.
Walking in your see your mother and father waiting for the two of you. Heimdall stood to the side leaning on his sword.
"Are you ready my children?" Odin asks standing up from his throne.
Thor glances down at you, and you remember that you weren't dressed for battle. You quickly summon your armour, a gust of wind blustering around you as it appeared before turning back to your father.
"I am now" you say making Thor chuckle slightly.
"Before you go, may I speak with you daughter?" Your mother asks holding out her hand for you.
"Of course Mother" you say walking over to her. Her arm wrapping around your shoulders as she lead you aside.
"Are you ready to visit your home?" She asks once you were out of earshot.
"I think so, I don't remember anything of my old home, Asgard is the only home I know" you tell her shrugging your shoulders slightly.
"Well you might not think the same once you are there, and I wanted to tell you that if you decide to remain there that it is okay" she tells you kindly, a reassuring smile on her face.
"But you and father?" You question and she smiles.
"Will fully support you, with whatever you choose, now go sort your older brother out" she smirks making you laugh.
The two of you return the throne room, you moving to stand beside Thor.
"Loki is currently on a flying craft, I shall drop you nearby but you will have to catch up to him" Heimdall informs you.
"Time for a rematch then?" You smirk up at Thor.
"You're on" he agrees shaking your hand to seal the deal.

In the time between now and waking up from the ice. The main feeling Steve had was loss. He'd lost his past life, the chance he had to live a life with Peggy. He felt lost whenever he walked through the streets of New York taking in how everything had changed.
He almost felt like he was an alien that landed on an unknown planet. Not knowing what to do with himself while he desperately tried to acclimate to this new world.
One solace he has was drawing, one of the things he enjoyed the most that he could still do. When Fury asked if he wanted anything, Steve was sure Fury wasn't expecting him to ask for art supplies.
He spent most of his days finding places in New York to sit and sketch. He wasn't sure how, but it helped him make sense of this new world.
However when he found himself thrust back into serving his country, he found a new thing that felt familiar. Even if the tech around him was so complicated that it gave him a headache.
