A while had passed since the Run in at the department store. My sleep schedule had finally been fixed and I was looking for a Job, With my experience, I was looking for high-paying jobs. Luffy claimed he could Set me up with a job with someone who would probably love me. So That's what today's mission was, Make a good impression on Luffy's friend.

I heard a gleeful knock from the front door of my room. Fixing myself up a bit before heading downstairs, My jaw-dropping once I saw who it was.

"HANCOCK!" I squealed

"Y/N!" She squealed, Engulfing me in a Hug

We both jumped up and down a bit, She had been one of my favorite people back in College. She helped me through a lottt. Like a lot, Aka helping me pay for it.

"Why didn't you tell me you needed a Job!"

"I didn't realize you had another Place in town!"

"I recently relocated due to more customers though, Of course, The one here isn't the only one~" She hummed

"So the one in Grayville is still there?"

"Mhm, It's run by one of my sisters" She hummed

"It's so good to see you!"

"We have to catch up" She hummed

"Oh! Nami and Robin want to take me shopping this weekend if you want to come with me?"

"Of course" She smiled kindly.

Hancock and I stayed in the living room catching up a bit Before she left because Ace went into the room. I chuckled at Ace's confused expression, He never really understood why she would always leave when anyone besides Luffy that was male came into the room.

"I'll never understand that woman..." Ace murmured, sitting on the couch next to me, "You get a Job?"

"Mhm, Hancocks strip club in town, Amazon Lily. I'll be working as a bartender" I hummed

Ace looked up at me with a surprised face, "Nice..." He hummed with a devious smirk

"Yeah... a lot of the women are real hotties too..." I mumbled, turning the Tv on and tossing the remote to Ace

"I can Agree" Ace chuckled, We heard a scoff, looking behind us to see a disappointed Marco

"You shouldn't base people off their looks-yoi" He grumbled

"Doesn't mean we can't call em' Hot" I chuckled

Marco thought for a second before jumping over the back of the couch, "True-yoi" He hummed.

"What are we watching?" Luffy hummed, sitting down with a bowl of popcorn

"I don't know, whatever Ace ends up picking I guess" I hummed

The rest of the day was spent watching different movies, Eventually, Ma came in to yell at us for being so loud. Soon after that, we all went to bed like we were supposed to hours ago.

It felt like I was back in middle school and I stayed up past my supposed bedtime. I walked upstairs, Opening the door to my room. It felt like a different universe for a Second. I had gotten so used to the red and black theme I almost didn't recognize the new colors. Sighing I turned on my bedroom light, my small exhausted smile faded. I wasn't sad, nor disappointed. I was... Surprised. Shutting my door like how I normally would so I wouldn't arouse suspicion from my brothers I picked up the small sheet of paper on my bed.

Looking up at my open window. Then back down at the note.

Dear Y/n,

I'm no good at this cheesy shit and you of all people would know this. But, I just felt the need to ask you for one, last, thing. I know you probably don't want to see my fuckin face ever again but I need to see yours one last time. I want to talk to you about something... Just for a few minutes, it could be for a fleeting moment. Just. Please. This will be the only time I'll ever beg, But Please, Meet me at our spot... One, Last time. I'll wait for you, I'll be there tonight... Until 1, and I'll be there tomorrow until 1. I'll wait for however long it takes.

- Signed, E.K

I sighed, Kid had always tried his best when we were in a relationship. Just...He didn't take me going off to University too well. Though I never truly got to hear what his shitty and even Shittier news was. It bugged me for a while, Still does in all honesty.

Tracing my fingers over the neat handwriting I put it on my new shelves. Hiding it just under a Candle. Hoping to forget about it. I closed my window, shutting my curtains. Changing my clothes I slipped some boxers on. not looking at them. As soon as I started moving they fell, tripping me in the process.

"You okay in there Miha!?" My mom yelled

"¡Sí mamá, estoy bien! ¡Solo tropezado es todo!" I yelled back (Yeah, mom, I'm fine! Just stumbled is all!)

"Se mas cuidadoso la proxima vez!" She warned, (Be more careful next time)

I sighed, rolling onto my back sitting up, and looking at the boxers. I stared at them for a moment... They had little Robots on them. An Internal War began in my head... Being taken over by the desire to find out how many more of Kid's old clothes were in my closet.

Looking at my closet, I began to dig through it. Finding various items of clothing that belonged to the redheaded male. Why hadn't I gotten rid of these after the breakup? Pressing my lips together into a line, I caved in, Taking one of the hoodies and slipping it on. I swam in it, Gripping the collar I took a big whiff of the smell in.

It smelled like him, I knew I should probably return them. I hadn't even noticed they were in there, I probably just assumed they were some of Ace's or Marco's clothes. I looked at myself in the mirror I had put on the wall. Behind me, I could swear I saw Kid hugging me at my waist like he used to.

I turned around, no one was there. I took the hoodie off, setting it and the boxers off to the side, instead, I put different clothes on. Ones that I knew didn't belong to him. I put my phone on a charger, setting an alarm for when I needed to wake up. Even if I didn't actually start working till next week.

Creating a steady morning routine would help me greatly. Even though Hancocks Strip club, was, well a Strip club, It was just a good old bar/cafe thing. They would transform the stage at the end of the night so it would be empty. They'd put table and chairs up, flip the bookshelves back around, and wabam. It was a Cafe/bar.

That was one of the reasons it made so much money. It had that whole extra deal to it during the day. Of course, the cafe part closed once it hit 5 Pm, the strip club would open up at 7 Pm. Giving the staff time to switch everything out. It wasn't a bad gig. I'd be stuck with it until I found a place to put my own bar.

I drifted off to sleep, preparing myself for what might be to come...
