"You're... having fun...?" Amity said in response to Luz. "It's a lot more daring than what I would do or say to my parents, ever, so I'm actually really... glad... that this is happening." Amity finished off with a smile and a slight blush in her face. If she tried doing this back at the manor, it'd all be over. Her parents are way too strict to even allow a friend over after school.

"Well I'm glad you enjoy this, it's just..." Luz said as she trailed off, letting out a sigh of relief. She didn't know what to think of it all: she was excited, but she was also nervous for Eda to find out she'd been lying, and not only Eda, but another pair of eyes were on her with Lilith, too.

"sigh Oh well, we just gotta face this headstrong is all. I can hide them, right? Yeah, I know I can!" Luz exclaimed with a small cheer with a little celebratory jig. Then, she thought for a good moment and went right back to being... nervous. "I can, right?"

Amity shrugged and hummed an 'IDK' to Luz.

"Oh dear." Luz said with a gulp. She took a deep breath, took a quick second to herself, and closed her eyes to calm her self down.

"You'll be fine. Trust me. Once Willow and Gus get here, we can figure this out properly, okay?" Amity said as she stood up and put her hands on Luz's shoulders. She leaned forward and gave Luz a quick peck on the lips before stepping back a bit to give her a reassuring smile.

"Yeah... yeah no, okay." Luz said as she blushed immensely, taking a moment to recollect. "We got this."

"Lily, none of this makes any sense."

"It makes perfect sense, Edalyn, you're just... slow."

"Yeah, well that explains why you haven't caught me in all these years."

"Quiet, you delinquent."

"Watch your tone, you're in my house, remember?"

"D-Damn. You make a good point."

"I always make a good point."

"Watch it."

"Sorry."

After their little dispute, Eda and Lilith both sighed collectively as they tried to find a solution to their family's problems due to the youngest Blight. They were more than happy to watch over here and have her stay in the Owl House for as long as she needed, but, regardless, they knew this would eventually come to an end.

"Anyways, we really just need to find a common middle ground. We can't just have them on a witch hunt for Amity forever." Eda exclaimed as she tried to think of anything reasonable that they could ration with when it comes to the Blight's or the Emperor's Coven.

"They certainly can! Come on, Eda, they're the Blights! You know as much as I do that they're so non-level-headed that they will not stop no matter what crosses their way." Lilith protested to Eda's remarks, cringing at the thought of the Blights as a whole. She doesn't usually throw the word hate around, but if there was one person, or rather, people she despised, it was Alador and Odalia Blight.

"Gosh I hate it when you're right." Eda whined as she pouted, sinking into her chair as if she was trying to hide herself.

"Well what even can we do? I'm truly stuck at a crossway here."

"We can always... blackmail them?" Eda suggested. Lilith sighed at this.

"You know blackmailing the Blights never worked for us, not even back in Hexside." Lilith mentioned, somewhat reminiscing back onto their childhood days.

"What if we were to take our names off the radar!" Eda said with so much enthusiasm, she would not have been mistaken for that being sarcastic. Worst part is, she was being completely real and honest.
