8. Stressed Back Up

Start from the beginning

Not an amazing duo by the way.

I had spend hours learning about things like the Mandela effect and behaviorism and personality things. It hurt my head. I cramped in hours of research into my head.

By the time I had looked over everything I didn't in the last week, it was already 2 in the morning. Time really flies.

I was so excited to go to bed. This was gonna be the best sleep. I brushed my teeth and crawled under my warm covers.

Bzzt bzzt

My phone is really going off today.

Geez, who could possibly be texting me right now.

I picked my phone up. And you wouldn't believe it.
'Pressure, we need you here. Now.' A location and plan attachment had been pinned onto the message.

I had to go help somones failed mission.

I put my hero costume on, tying my hair back. I left in a hurry. Much faster then I probably needed too.

I got to the location I had been given. It was a warehouse. I could hear crashing coming from inside.

I found my way in and saw two other heros fighting this small gang of villains. One of the heros was using wind to push the enemy back while the other was pounding a couple.

I walked in and splashed the surrounding area in water. Covering as much ground as I could.

"Back ups here!" Said the wind hero.
"It's about fucking time!" The one that was punching the enemies said very angrily.

"So sorry, I got lost." Sarcasm tracing my voice.

I used my quirk to collect the moisture in the air into a ball of water. The water I had spilled everywhere aiding.

"What are you gonna do with that? Drown us?" I heard a villain say over the sound of crashing.

"Freeze you" I answered back

The water I gathered surrounding the enemies infront of me. I closed my fist making the water around them turn into solid ice.

Everything ceased movement. It was quiet. All you could hear were the breathes of the heros beside me.

"Thanks.."
"You should b-" I was cut off by a blunt pain all over my back as I got launched forward into the concrete pillars on the other side of the warehouse.

The other two heros that I had neglected to learn the names of turned around to face whatever had hit me.

I opened my eyes slowely. Watching the dust around me fade away. There were two more villains. And they seemed much more powerful than the ones prior.

"Where the fuck did they come from?!"
"I don't know bro!"
"Would you two stop talking and fight them?" I yelled at the two having their own fucking conversation.

I got up from the pile of rumble I lied in.
I heard something flash behind me.

"Getting up already huh? You should've stayed down." A voice came from behind me.

Another one? Fuck.

I got knocked down to the ground again.
This time being more prepared.

I got up from the ground once more, I glared at the three people that had only just appeared and that were standing together.

Using my quirk I managed to gather moisture from the people I had frozen prior. I tried surrounding the three that had attacked us.

All of a sudden the water I'd collected vaporized. "We saw your little trick from earlier. That won't work on us." One said with a flame emitting from between his teeth and eyes.

Ones strong, the other is much to fast to keep up with, and the last is able to use fire. An incredible combo.

On the other hand.
I'm able to control moisture and harden it to my will, the other two can control wind and is also very strong.

My mind was going a hundred miles per hour. I had to think of a plan. And quickly too.

A plan came to my head.
Words rushed to be spoken.
"You! Wind dude, I need you to try slow the fast one down. The strong one, face off with the one that hits hard. I'll take care of the fire guy!" They both looked at me as I gave orders.

"I don't like taking orders but I don't think I have a choice!" The hard hitter announced unnecessarily.
"Got it" the one who controlled wind added.

The two strong opposites were head to head. Fighting with nothing but their fists. The fast one running laps around the wind dude that was trying to get use to his speed patterns.

And as for I, I had to deal with this guy.
The guy that had fire spitting from his eyes and mouth. Like tears from the sun itself.

We fought. All the moisture I keep creating kept getting evaporated. I needed more time to gather enough water to put out his flames. But I didn't have the time.

We exchanged punches and condensation. Both of us getting our fair share of hits in. I had cuts and burns all over me. Blood spilled on the ground.

The same ofcourse, going for him.

I needed more time. I needed more liquid. But the other two were distracted with their fair share of trouble.

I was on my own.

Just then, a window shattered, a black figure jumping through. Ribbons of fabric wrapping around the person infront of me and the flames that engulfed his face disappearing.

What was happening? Who was that? Was it more back up?

A/N: Looks like (Y/N)'s a pro hero. Who would have thought. Who could possibly be there to help in this fight against these baddies?

Let me know if you think I should do a paragraph or two explaining (Y/N)'s quirk a little better. I'll try work it in anyway though.
