10. The Power of 8%

"We can't, it only works one way" – said Jemma

"You lie! You always do this!" – screamed Ruby making her and Fitz float and pinning them to a wall

"Ruby, put them down" – ordered Hale – "it's mom, look at me!" – she called once again and the girl let the married couple fall while crying

"Mom...there's something really wrong" – cried Ruby

"I know, we're trying to figure it out" – said Hale – just...stay strong, sweetie, don't panic, just try not to panic, okay?" – she added softly

"They can't be here, Lee let's get them past any mechs" – said May

"Okay" – said Jason and both of them helped Fitz and Jemma out the place leaving Hale and Daisy to deal with Ruby

"That was...fucked up" – said Jason – "by far the most brutal thing I ever saw" – he added referring to what Ruby did to Werner

"You should have gone to space with us then" – said May

"Melinda" – called Yo-Yo as they find her on their way out

"Your arm" – said Jemma worried approaching the woman as she looked hurt

"It's fine" – assured Yo-Yo – "what happened? Did someone go in?" – She asked

"It's being handled, we need to get to the Zephyr" – said May

"Handled by whom?" – Asked Yo-Yo but nobody said anything and she figured out herself – "Daisy" – she said running pass the group

"Yo-Yo wait!" – called May

"I'll get her" – said Jason following the Latina – "Yo-Yo wait!" – He called but the woman kept going until they were in the room with Hale, Daisy and Ruby

"Yo-Yo, Jason get out of here" – ordered Daisy

"Come on Yo-Yo, is not safe" – tried Jason grabbing her arm but she flinched away turning to look at the mother and daughter in front of her

"That's who took my arm" – said Yo-Yo but nobody answered her once again – "it's her, isn't it? She's the Destroyer" – she insisted

"Yo-Yo, she's a kid, she is terrified" – said Daisy trying to calm her down

"No, you look at me, listen to me" – ordered Hale as her daughter screamed in pain – "stay with me and we'll get through this!" – She said

"No, Mom, they're getting louder! I'm losing" – complained Ruby grabbing her head – "Let us out, we want out, let us out, I won't be able to resist" – she rambled – "do it!" – She added screaming

"I can make this better, I promise!" – Said Hale until something happened and Ruby stopped talking and the woman realized she had a cut on her throat – "Ruby" – she said

"Oh no" – said Jason turning to look at Yo-Yo with the Chakram on her hand

"What? No. Ruby? Ruby! No!" – Called Hale trying to make her react

"No, Yo-Yo, what did you do?!" – complained Daisy as the Latina gasped and let the Chakram fall from her hands realizing what she did

"No" – gasped Hale seeing her daughter was unresponsive now – "No, No! Ruby..." – she cried mourning her daughter but then the body of the girl started to levitate on the air – "Ruby?" – she asked confused but then a wave of energy from the gravitonium was expulsed out of her body pushing everybody away leaving them unconscious for a couple of seconds until they grunted slowly standing up

"What the fuck was that?" – complained Jason confused looking around just when Jemma, Fitz and May entered the room

"Simmons" – called Yo-Yo in pain

"Where's Hale?" – Asked Fitz

"She was here next to Ruby before she hovered in the air and let out a wave of gravitonium from her body...I think, but she was there" – explained Jason

"How did she get away? And what happened to Ruby?" – Asked May

"I had it under control, she was coming around..." – started to explain Daisy before turning to the Latina in the room – "...and then Yo-Yo killed her" – she stated making the scientist couple and May turn to her

"No, I just saved the world" – stated Yo-Yo not looking remorseful for what she did while Daisy looked at her mad, the three people that came in confused and Jason both worried and still a little shocked as he didn't expect things to take this turn, but at least everybody was okay...for now
