Chapter 1: Fresh Start

Michael very rarely talked about his dad anymore. And when he did he never called him dad; he didn't even call him William. He just called him Mr. Afton.

But that didn't matter anymore. William was gone forever now.

On top of that, Michael now saw Henry as his father figure. He always called Henry uncle, but he felt more like a dad to him.

And Henry loved Michael like he was his son, too. Ever since he lost Charlie and Sammy, he felt completely broken. And although he obviously didn't love Michael as much as his own children, Michael was the closest thing he had to another child. And that was why he loved him and treated him like it.

It was heartwarming; for me at least. With William gone, it was like Michael finally got the dad he deserved.

Henry always called Michael his nephew, and now he called me his niece. And I didn't mind it. I thought of him as an uncle anyway.

"Well, I did my best," Michael said with a shrug.

"Can't this ceremony or whatever be done already?" A voice next to me complained. I looked over and saw Elizabeth whose head was tossed back with boredom.

"It's for Uncle Henry!" Chris protested. "Believe me, I'd like to get out of here just as much as you would. But this is Henry's special day so just push through it a little longer."

"Wow, Chris, you sure sound mature for a 12-year-old," Michael said looking over at him.

"I'm just sick of hearing her complain!"

"Hey! You complain about everything!" Elizabeth bickered.

"I do not!"

"Guys, chill," I stopped them with a bit of a chuckle. Elizabeth groaned once again.

I rested my head on Michael's shoulder with a smile. I was glad to finally have things in my life turned right-side up. Things were so chaotic and crazy back when we first reunited three years before. Now our lives had fallen back into place. William was gone, the rest of Michael's siblings and mom were back, he had a new and real dad...

We were happy.

We all decided to celebrate by going to a restaurant to eat. Some people left, others came. But our family decided to stay.

"So, Henry," Michael began. "How's it feel? Accomplishing your dream? You know, without anyone... in the way like last time."

"It feels fantastic!" Henry exclaimed. "I wouldn't have things any other way!"

"So, tell us, what do you plan it to be like? What types of animatronics will there be?" I asked.

"Well, there'll be the main four, obviously," he began. "They'll be known as Rockstar animatronics. Rockstar Freddy, Rockstar Bonnie, Rockstar Chica, and Rockstar Foxy. On top of that, I'm adding some new ones such as a pig named Pigpatch, a frog named Happy Frog, a hippo named Mr. Hippo, three new bears named Lefty, Nedd Bear, and El Chip, a new Chica called Funtime Chica since there wasn't a Funtime Chica at the old location, and–"

Henry suddenly stopped speaking. He chuckled awkwardly. "Sorry. I guess I started ranting a bit."

"No, it's okay!" Clara insisted. "We love hearing about all this!"

"Thanks, guys," Henry said with a smile. "I appreciate it."

"Seriously, we're all really excited about this," Michael continued. "It's super exciting to have a new location made by just you. This time, things'll be different. Better!"

"That's where you're wrong," Henry said. "I didn't make it alone. I made it with you. All of you."

"What can we say?" Michael asked with a shrug. "You're our family."
