I sighed heavily as I sat down on the edge of my bed and looked out the window. I wonder if those kids are okay... no. I shook my head of those thoughts and I got up to put on some shorts really quickly so I can eat dinner before I fell asleep.
I walked out of my room, down the hall, down the long ass stair case, to the kitchen where I saw the maids abs servants making dinner.
"Excuse me, what are you doing in here? Dinner isn't done yet, you're gonna have to wait in the dining room like everyone else." One of the maids sneered at me and the anger I felt could only be soothed in one way... I picked up one of the knives and I held it to her throat. She and many others screamed in terror.
"Mind repeating that?" I got up close and personal and she simply shook her head no as fast as possible. I huffed and dropped the knife on the floor before Kylo came running into the kitchen.
"Learn to watch your fucking mouth when taking to someone higher than you, bitch." She shook and shivered in fear and Kylo just looked at me.
"What is going in here?" He asked quickly. I just looked at him and walked off. He followed me and tried to catch my attention. I can feel my emotions becoming too much for me.
"QUIT FOLLOWING ME!" I yelled at him and he just took a step back, looking at me with confusion and hurt evident on his face. I opened my mouth to apologize and he simply just walked away before I could even say anything.
"Shit!" I yell out before kicking one of the wooden tables in the hallway. It falls over and the vase that was on top of it, fell over and shattered. I just sighed softly in defeat before bending over to pick up the pieces.
"What the hell is going on here-." Fisher was cut off by seeing me on the floor, picking up glass. He walked over to me and gripped my hand and ripped it away from the glass.
"What are you doing?" His eyebrows were scrunched together and he looked confused.
"Cleaning up the glass...?" I looked at him like a dumbass and he just sighed before ripping my body up from the floor.
"The maids will get that. Go to the dining room and eat something. I know you must be hungry after everything that's happened today." He commanded and I just rolled my eyes before doing what I was told.
I made it to the dining room and I looked around the gigantic space. The windows in here were huge, the ceiling was tall, and art decorated the walls.
"Beautiful." I sighed quietly.
"I agree." I jumped at the sound of the voice behind me.
"Julian!" I gasped out as I held my chest. I really shouldn't lower my guard...
"Clara." He smiled softly before walking towards the table. He sat down towards the end and I couldn't help but sit next to him.
"You're speaking to me now?" I teased and he just looked down, seeming to be embarrassed.
"I tease. I'm sorry. I understand that you were nervous." I smile and he nods his head before looking at me closely.
"How do you do it?" He asked softly, so soft I could barely hear him.
"Do what?" I shifted in my seat and he just looked down at his hands, they seemed to be playing with the table cloth.
"Killing people. Ruining lives..." He whispered and I was taken aback. Did he really just ask me that? I pause for a second before answering.
"It's my job. I don't do this because I want too, Julian. I do this because I have too." He sighed and nodded his head, seeming to understand what I meant by that.
"Does it get any easier?" He asked. I just chuckled softly.
"No." I smiled solemnly and he smiled, just as sad, back.
As soon as I opened my mouth to speak again, the doors opened and in came more people, as well as the servants and maids with trays upon trays of food. My mouth gaped at the sight of fresh warm steak and potatoes, as well as, what I can only tell is chocolate cake with fudge drizzled on top. My mouth watered instantly. I'm a huge chocolate fan.
The others in the mansion soon filled the room, and all you heard was bustling conversations from each and every corner of the room, laughter filled among them.
Huh I guess people in the mafia do laugh, but I mean so do assassins. I laughed at my stupid thoughts and they instantly paused when Kylo was in my line of sight. He sat down in the chair across from mine and we were in a constant awkward eye contact situation all night because of his choice of seating.

After eating the delicious food they served to us tonight, I slugged myself back to my room, because now I'm almost sure I'm about to go into a food coma.
I flopped on my bed and groaned with happiness at the softness underneath me. I glanced over at my glass doors and I saw someone standing there with their back turned on me, watching the garden. I furrowed my brows and I slowly walked over to my nightstand and I grabbed the handgun I kept in there, before walking over to the balcony.
It was hard to see who it was based on the fact that it's dark as fuck outside and people just don't seem to believe in lights out here I guess. I open the door as quietly and as quickly as I could and I immediately pressed my handgun to the back of their head.
"Who the fuck are you?" I growled out and the person in front of me just seems to be as cool as ever.
"I just said who the fuck are you?" I pressed my handgun further into their head and all I heard was a laugh, a bone chilling laugh that I never thought I would hear again.
"Dad?"
