Don't Tell A Soul (Shouta Aizawa X Reader)

18. Hone Daiku

All of a sudden he stopped and screamed in agony. "Uh-ah," Hone Daiku said waving a single finger.

"Don't you try and run away or I'll carve your ribcage from your chest."

The menacing tone he had worried me.
It looked painful, watching him made me glad it wasn't me on the floor.

"Hey his quirk seems similar to Marrow don't you think?" Shouta looked at me quickly.

"No, Morrow can't do that. He can only control his own bones and turn them into weapons. He can't control others bones. Plus he wouldn't do something like that."

"If you say so. I'll believe you," His expression was as calm as it usually was. Nothing changed.

"I'll make a deal with you," the Bone Carver guy started to speak.

"I won't-" a scream was heard as the person on the floor started bleeding when one of his bones flew out of his body and into this villains hands.

"-use my ability on you two, I'm confident I can beat you without it. And I never break a promise."

I looked at him horrified. "What on earth did you just do to him!"

"I got that from watching that one pro hero fight. You know? The one that uses his own bones." He was talking about Marrow. At least I know it's not Marrow.

Shouta looked barely fazed. His eyes widened for a split second before returning to his stone cold look.

We threw punch for punch. I had gotten the girl to put the tap on so I had a steady flow of water.

I threw icicles at him which he mostly deflected with the bone he held in his hand.

Shouta wrapped him up and jump kicked him in the jaw. I ran an icicle through the the side of his ribcage, just as it began pricking through his skin, I felt something hard. It felt like bone, when I looked down, it was the same bone from the guy on the floor.

With that he managed to weed himself out of the bandages he was incaged in.

"It's been a pleasure," This Bone Carver spoke. I looked at him weirdly, what was he saying?

He screamed something inaudible, then a purple swirl opened up next to him and he stepped in.

"Aidios" He put two fingers to the top of his head before stepping in fully and leaving.

"Wait!" It was too late, he was already gone.

I looked at Eraserhead and he looked confused. "What?" I asked.

"I've seen that portal somewhere, I think we were right about him being partnered with the League..." I looked at him with a lot more worried expression than before.

It makes sense but I still didn't understand why. What business does he have with the League Of Villains?

We rushed over to the man rolling on the floor in pain. He held the hole left by the lack of bone.

We picked him up and tried distracting him with questions.
"Whats your name?" I said wrapping something around the wound tightly.

"Uhh, J-James."

"Ok James, you're gonna be fine," I wasn't so sure if he was gonna really be Ok. It looked extremely painful, he did  take an entire bone.

We eventually got James to a hospital and informed his wife where he was. We told the blond girl to leave and not to say a word. She obliged.

After sorting everything out there we went to the Hawks agency to report everything that happened.

"Yea and that's about it," I finished up the recap of the events.

"Did you get any useful information?" He dotted something down on a piece of paper.

"Nothing except that's he's powerful, and he's working with the League if villains" Shouta chipped in.

"Oh is that so?" There was silence for a few seconds before anyone spoke.

"Did you get hurt (Y/N)?" Hawks said eyeing Shouta. I think he was trying to annoy him.

"No, me and Eraserhead are fine" I tried to ignore his ignorance.

"Ok, you two can go home now. Come in when I next call you in," Hawks waved a hand at us.

Shouta and I left and started walking towards Shoutas place. It had been a draining mission. We both planned on clocking out as soon as possible.

A/N: The Hone Daiku seems like a strong opponent. I hope they'll be able to get through this.

I just got out of Iso like on the 7th, which is awhile ago now because I write in advance, but I missed out on like three assessments. My health teacher likes me though so he gave me a high mark anyway 💪
