Dashon nodded. "What's your name?" Dashon asked. "Justin." He stated. "I gotta get back to work man. Wish you the best." He then walked away.
Dashon entered into the house and he went to the room where Penda and her kids were at.
"They're gone guys." He announced before any one of them had a chance to speak.
"And.... I need to talk to your mother... you two don't mind that right?" Dashon questioned.
"No." They both answered. "Ok, make yourselves at home and leave us two to talk in here." He instructed. They left and did just that.
Dashon sighed and closed the door as the kids left.
He turned around to face Penda. He made eye contact with her. Gosh she is so beautiful he thought to himself.
"So what's up?" She asked in curiosity. "She uh.... She called the police so she can come get the twins." He confessed.
"I'm so sorry Shon." "Yeah, I'm sorry too." He voiced in sad tone. That broke Penda's heart for some reason.. walking towards the bed. He sat on the edge of it still making eye contact with her. She walked up to him and stood above him. He looked up at her.
He then broke that eye contact feeling himself about to cry.. "I-I just don't know what I'm going to do man. Those girls are my world." He said his eyes watering. He was never really the type to cry. But lately he has been crying like hell. Not really like hell but like a bitch.
He always tried to be this strong man who holds it in even though his mother and grandmother tried to tell him that it's ok for a man to cry. Deep down inside he knew that they were right.
But it just doesn't seem right for a man to cry you know? Not even to mention that he has already cried in front of her once when he found out that Lauren cheated. Now he is about to cry in front of her twice.
"I don't mean..... to cry in front of you....I've already cried once and now I am.... Crying again..... I'm a strong man i... promise." He apologized in between sniffles. Penda pulled him in to a tight hug. She felt like he needed that right now. "Everything is going to be fine." She reassured him.
"What if.... she keeps me away from my daughters?" He worried. "Then you'll have to fight for them. It sucks but sometimes as a parent you gotta do what you gotta do." She told him.
That makes the second time he has heard that today. Maybe that's a sign.
He pulled away from her a bit just so he can lock eyes with her. His eyes fell down to her lips. It's like he could just kiss her right now.
Are those feelings real? Or is he just acting out of hurt? Emotion? He looked back up to her eyes again. He gently freed his left arm from hugging her and he brushed his thumb across her lips.
" I just wanna kiss you right now. " he said in a seductive tone. They both leaned in capturing each other lips.
