"Are you okay?!" Kuboyasu asked worriedly watching the girl silently shed a few tears. Though she wasn't the only one. A certain blue-haired boy that was spying was sobbing to himself as well. Y/n calmed down when Kuboyasu fed her some of the rolled-up eggs he made. She sniffed to herself feeling herself calm down as he laughed rubbing her head slightly

"Don't just randomly cry like that. I was concerned." He said wondering what exactly made her cry so suddenly. The two would take turns passing the chopsticks to each other to eat the bento until eventually it was gone and Y/n thanked the boy repeatedly.

"Y/n. You should meet my other friends. I think you guys would get along!" Kuboyasu smiled watching Y/n's face turn into discomfort.

"I don't know. Hanging out in big groups isn't really my thing. It makes me uncomfortable. I would rather hang out with you, Kuboyasu." Y/n muttered embarrassed from telling him the truth. The boy on the other hand wasn't annoyed by the girl or disappointed. He was a little bit flattered that he was that special to her in such a short amount of time. He felt his cheeks heat up from the comment as he nodded.

"I see." He smiled

"Then, I won't force you to do anything you don't wanna do. But what if instead, I introduce you to each of my friends 1-on-1! Maybe that way, you can become comfortable with them!" Kuboyasu asked watching Y/n's face fill with thoughts.
She had no interest in friends. But this seemed to be happening all too fast and convenient. Would it be okay for her to pass up an opportunity like this one? It was practically thrown at her. It doesn't feel like a coincidence at all. Maybe... For once she could try something new. After all, leaving her comfort zone was one step closer to success.

"Okay." Y/n agreed after a few minutes of hesitation. Kuboyasu cheered silently to himself watching her face morph into hundreds of different expressions.

"I think you two would get along! Please would you give her a chance?"

"I wanna say yes... But no."

"What's going on buddy?" Nendo asked walking over to the two teens

"Oh. I'm just trying to get Saiki to meet my friend. She's really shy so I wanted her to meet you guys one at a time to prevent her from becoming overwhelmed." Kuboyasu explained to the blonde-haired teen. Nendo smiled giving Kuboyasu a thumbs up

"Don't worry buddy I got your back. I'll be good friends with that mysterious girl!" Nendo cheered watching Kuboyasu's face darken

"Uhh... I think maybe your face would scare her. Maybe I'll ask Kaido instead." Kuboyasu said watching Nendo's face morph into a shocked expression as he question what exactly was wrong with his face. The purple haired male ignored Nendo then turned to Kaido who was sobbing his eyes out in front of him. He shamelessly grabbed Kuboyasu's hands like he was experiencing some sort of grief.

"I'll do it! I'll do it for you." Kaido said through tears. Kuboyasu frowned wondering if all his friends were always this weird.

"Good grief."

The meeting place was nothing too special. Just a small cafe that was known for its specialty in coffee jelly. Y/n had researched the cafe beforehand wondering if the food was good. There was a small comment about how great the strawberry shortcake was so she figured she might as well get one of those. She nervously waited at the sign for a beauty salon that was a block away from the cafe's destination. Y/n would check her phone every few seconds checking for a notification that would never exist. She was on her 53rd check when suddenly someone cleared their throat beside the girl. She jumped and turned seeing the blue-haired boy who had red bandages wrapped around his arms. He was wearing a blue sweater that was rolled up at the sleeves to reveal his red bandages. Along with the dark outfit he was wearing he matched with a lot of silver jewelry. Y/n was honestly lost in how well dressed he was. He scratched the back of his head nervously and tried to avoid her piercing gaze.

"I'm sorry for staring. It's just that, I really love your outfit." Y/n said watching Kaido smile and kick his right foot back from the flattery

"Thank you." He said as his voice got a little higher from the embarrassment.

"You must be Y/n, right?" Kaido asked watching her nod in affirmation.

"The cafe Kuboyasu recommended has a lot of good reviews! I see one about a strawberry shortcake. I might get that." Kaido said to himself pulling out his phone to pull up the review. Y/n felt her eyes widen in shock as she bounced in her step slightly

"I saw that too!" She spoke out in excitement. Kaido jumped at her sudden I interest in the conversation.

"What a crazy coincidence!"

"It's too crazy. Such a coincidence must be the work of dark reunion. They must've made the good review to tempt us into choosing this cafe! This must be a trap to capture me and steal my powers! To involve this poor girl as well... I must stay on guard."
Kaido thought glaring at his red bandages with a dark expression. Y/n noticed and hesitantly opened her mouth to speak

"Are you alright?" She asked watching him he snapped back out of his thoughts. He squeaked and covered his hands under his armpits

"It's nothing!" He yelped as the two continued towards the cafe.
