As she drove you scrolled through your messages replying to some. You texted Steve to tell him you were fine and that you'd explain everything later. He responded almost immediately despite the time difference.

He then sent a link to a news article. As you opened it your jaw fell to the floor.
"Oh my god" you mutter to yourself.
"What?" Thor questions looking over his shoulder at you.
"I think I know why Selvig wasn't answering your calls" you say leaning forward holding your phone out.
They both looked at it seeing the picture of Erik running around Stonehenge completely naked completely shocked
"Is he?" Thor questions.
"Yep, he's been a bit off since New York" Jane explains.

Eventually you get back to Jane's house, finding both Darcy, Ian and Erik already there. Jane walks straight in while you and Thor hang back slightly. You watch him hand his hammer on a hook going to stop him.
"That's not what that's for" you mutter but he doesn't listen and just walks past you.
"Jane! How wonderful" Erik says getting up from his seat a moving to hug her.
"You've been to Asgard" he comments looking down at her outfit.
"Where are your pants?" Jane asks pointing out that Erik was just in a shirt and briefs.
"He says it helps him think" Ian explains.
"Okay well I'm going to need everything you got on this, all the work you've been doing on gravimetric anomalies, everything" Jane tells Erik.
"Okay" Erik agrees.
"Are you well Erik?" Thor asks a hint of amusement in his voice.
Erik chuckles before looking back at the two of you worriedly "your brother's not coming is he?" He asks.
You drop your head, biting your lip, screwing your eyes closed to try and stop the onslaught on emotions.
"Loki is dead" Thor explains clearing his throat.
"Oh thank god" Erik sighs in relief making you and Thor look over at him in disbelief.
"I... I meant, I'm so sorry" Erik says correcting himself.
"Thank you" you say quietly as Erik walks over to the two of you.
Erik then gives you both large hugs, you had to try and not grimace slightly considering the lack of pants.
A short while later Jane walked back in, now dressed in her normal clothes. Everyone gathers round her computer as she looks over the data.
"Malekith is going to fire the Aether at a spot where all the nine worlds are connecting" Jane explains.
