"Gissell gave me fifty dollars to do it." Ranboo defended himself, which only made Shady laugh in response. "Okay, Big 16, what do you need fifty dollars for?"
Ranboo paused, laughing as he spoke. "I don't need it, but I still wanted it; Money is money, right?" He asked the older boy, who simply nodded while knowing that the other couldn't see him. "I was just supposed to say 'hi.' I didn't think she'd abandon me and leave me to die." He complained.
"It's Gissell." Shady deadpanned. "Quackity's a bad influence on her, dude. 2020 TheorysOfGee would never abandon you."
"2020 TheorysOfGee didn't even know me." Ranboo pointed out.
"Which would then make her unable to abandon you. What are you not understanding here, Sir Ranboo?" Shady asked, feigning annoyance.
"Okay, Sir Shady," Ranboo started. "Don't make me bring up the fact that you just asked me out twenty minutes ago and then blocked me on my main and alt accounts before I could give you a proper response."
Shady sharply inhaled, choking on air before they muted themself on Discord. Ranboo finds himself laughing at the older boy's reaction, not stopping even when Shady returned. "...We're not discussing this anymore. D'you want to watch me play 'The Closing Shift?' I need to edit this and upload it in, like, six hours."
"Six hours? How long do you usually stream for?" Ranboo asked, adjusting the tabs on his own computer so that he could see Shady's shared screen on Discord. "And, yeah, I'm down. I think. Is it bad?"
"Three hours on school days; Six hours every other day." Shady went back onto the game. "I don't think it's too bad, but I do this for a living, so don't rely solely on my words."
"Okay, okay." Ranboo let out a nervous breath. "I'll turn my volume up all the way."
Shady grinned. "Lights off, too." He instructed. "Put yourself in the scariest mindset you can."
