Skylanders Academy Season 9 War of Fire and Ice

Episode 4: Flame, the next Fire Guardian

Flame follows and hopes he can learn about being a Fire Guardian like him. In the realm of Skylands, King Pen and the team; Flameslinger, Drobot, and Gill Grunt, were still protecting Skylands from evil forces. Then they return to the academy when done saving the world.

Gill Grunt: "Did you see how I splash that bad guy right into their cells? They were like, "Oh-No!" And I was like, "Oh, Yeah!" And splash! Right into their face."

Drobot: "We all saw it, Gill. I record it all when we're facing them. And another recording of you did the same thing over and over again. You should have something that's better than splashing them."

Gill Grunt: "Like what?"

Drobot: "Like letting us have the turn? You never let us do the final attack."

Gill Grunt: "Well, because you never ask. That's why I did it."

Drobot: "You suppose to know we too wanna do it. Lesson #278; friends must let others have a turn.... "

Gill Grunt was listening until he noticed Flameslinger was looking directly at the window. Drobot's still explaining the lesson, as Gill walks away from him.

Gill Grunt: "Hey, Flameslinger.... Why are you staring at the window again? You've been doing that since King Pen invited us to join Master Kaos' mission. Is there something on your mind?"

Flameslinger: "Nothing, I was just seeing how the skies are blue filled with white clouds."

Gill Grunt: "Oh...." As he thought of what he said until realize he had his blindfolded on and knew the clouds were there. "Wait, you have your blindfold on your eyes. You can't see a thing."

Flameslinger: "I... well.... I smell the colors."

Gill tried to smell the colors but no color scent. This confused him how did Flameslinger know the clouds were there. Before questions, King Pen came to meet the team, and they saluted their sensei.

King Pen: "You do not have to salute me, Skylanders. You three have been Skylanders for twenty-six years for protecting Skylands. You are welcome to do anything to greet me. And now, rest. We have tomorrow things ahead of us."

They all make themselves ready for rest, and King Pen asks Flameslinger for a walk with him. As they walk outside the academy, Flameslinger tells him why he stands directly at the window and King Pen understands.

King Pen: "I see, you two have been seeing each other from training and visiting. Is that bothering you?"

Flameslinger: "Most, maybe, it feels like how long she has been with her friends in another realm. It's like war has been going on there and it doesn't end. Fire Birds and Ice Serpents fighting and battling, it feels so wrong if they don't get along."

King Pen: "Wrong can be the answer for them, but it's not their race or who they are, it's their elements. No matter what power they hold is their heart. With one look in at them, you'll see their hiding behind the mask. This lesson teaches you that sometimes you won't be far from those you want to see. Pretty soon, Flameslinger, we might visit them soon."

He then walks away letting him think about what he said. In another realm, Stealth was staring at the skies thinking. And then Spyro appeared right to her and wondered what she's thinking.

Spyro: "Stealth....."

Stealth Elf: "Oh, I didn't know you were there." As she was a little surprised. "I was just thinking how the skies are. Just more beautiful than ever in this world."

Spyro: "Really?" As he looked. "Skies have always been beautiful in this world. Is there something that you're not telling me?"

Stealth Elf: "Nothing. Just not thinking of someone-... something that I'm not worried about."
