6 - Secrets

"My parents died two years ago."

I stood there in silence. Confusion.

Have I been overthinking everything? Am I being selfish?

I look at her slowly to see glistening tears streaming down her beautiful face.

Man I messed up.

I wrap my arms around her, feeling her tears soak into my shirt.

"Let it out."

I felt her body falling into me, bringing us to the floor. She sobs in my arms as I stroke her (h/c) hair slowly. I feel her clench my arms from time to time.

I feel the need to protect her.

"Pain, pain, go away.." I chant while doing a throwing motion.

Her head lifts slowly as I continue the motions. She gave me a beautiful smile through all her suffering. I wipe away her tears with my thumbs.

"If you ever need someone to lean on, I will always be by your side."

Was that the right thing to say?

She wrapped her arms around my body, bringing me closer to hers.

"It's a promise," she said, holding onto my bracelet.

I looked at her with open eyes. A single tear coming down my right eye as I'm reminded of our past.

"Nurufufufu! Welcome back, everyone. Let's head to the pool today since it's warm. Follow me!" Koro-sensei states.

Everyone groans as they stand up and make their way out the building.

"It's not like they want us on the main campus though. Especially the pool..." Nagisa sighed.

Everyone nodded in a sad agreement.

"And that's why we make a left here... and come to the pool I made myself!"

Koro-sensei moved some branches aside to clear the view of a large natural pool with flowing water on the sides.

"Yippee!"

"HOORAH!"

Numerous students make their way into the pool after pulling off their school wear and revealing swim clothing.

Except you.

You sat on a lawn chair on the side of the pool, fully clothed from head to toe, regardless of the heat beating on your back.

"Y/n~ are you not gonna join me?" Karma says with a 'where's my hug'  look plastered on his face.

His arms motion you to join him in the water.

You shook your head quickly and made a sad face.

"Fine, be that way."

Karma showed a devilish smile while scooping water in his hands and throwing it towards you.

Before the liquid could reach your skin, you quickly grabbed a towel and covered your face, repelling the droplets.

"Tch. You're no fun," he said, waving goodbye.

Phew.

Instead, the red head swam over to bother Koro-sensei. He continuously shook his lifeguard tower in attempt to make him fall into the pool. Koro-sensei was latched onto the tower like a scared cat.

"PBTHTH IS KORO-SENSEI SCARED OF WATER?!" Maehara exclaimed.

The rest of the students swam over to the tower to rock it back and forth. Eventually, Koro-sensei fell off the tower, but only one tentacle reached the water. The instant that happened, his yellow tentacle swelled red and started wiggling around.
