Chapter 4: What took you so long?

That night, both Hobin and Snapper were at Gen's place. Sitting in front of Gen's pc as they searching something online.

"Taehoon Seong from Gangbuk high, 18 years old, he was part of Max FC but he was kicked out because he was too wild" Snapper said.

"They call him Cray Teahoon, I heard there isn't one person at his school who hasn't been beaten up by this dude"

"Damn that's impressive"

"Which martial art do you think he learned?" Snapper asked.

"Hmmm.... Boxing? He looks really fast"

"No, it's Taekwondo " Snapper began to snickered, he then started to criticise Taekwondo and how it was easy to win just by grabbing their legs

"Wrong! You fellas don't know anything about Taekwondo!" A raven haired girl suddenly pop up behind them

"AGH! How can you get in here?!"

"I let her in, she's your editor right?" Gen entered the room while removing his jacket. His gaze then shifted to the computer monitor. His expression darken.

"Hey man, you alright ?" Snapper asked.

"Are you going to fight him?" Gen asked pointing at the screen.

"You know him?" Hobin asked.

"Yeah, he's a..." Gen trailed off " an old friend of mine and [  ]"

"Old? What happened to you guys?"

"Let's just say...[  ] and him used to be close friend. Something happened and now [  ] has amnesia " Gen told them, he then crossed his arms "but if you're going to fight with him, be careful."

Outside the room, [  ] was standing near the door listening to their conversation.

'He used to be my friend?' She thought, but couldn't recall anything from the past.

The next afternoon,  [  ] was on her way to the library, texting on her phone while walking she then bumped into a person.

She let out a startled yelp and fell to the ground, raising her head to find a light brown haired male staring down at her, looking.....surprise?

"I'm sorry, I didn't watch where I was going" She apologized while standing up.

' Gen was right, I shouldn't be on my phone while walking' She thought

"It's alright" He mumbled quietly.

"You're Taehoon Seong?" She asked

"You remember?" He said

"No" She said bluntly " I heard Gen said we used to be friends-" [  ] was cut off by a pair of arms wrapping around her, pulling her into a tight hug.

Taehoon took a shaky breath and exhaled slowly.

"What took you so long?" He whispered. She remained motionless as the male embraced her, unsure of what to do.

"Hey!" A voice called, Taehoon looked up to see three men standing across both of them. Pushing [  ] behind his back, he faced the men.

"Are you Taehoon Seong?" The big guy asked

"My friend told me you said he should bring his friends, so here I am asshole, no one gets away with beating my friends "

Taehoon's kick blew one of the guys away in the blink of an eye.

"Hey, do you have 500 won? I wanna go to the arcade" tossing his bag at [  ] and told her to hold it for him.

Her phone vibrated, Yeonwoo texted her

"Are you alright?
You haven't arrived yet"

"I'm alright, something
came up so I have
to cancel coming to
the library today.
Sorry Yeonwoo "

"I see, it's alright.
See you around then ^^"

[] then shifted her focus to Taehoon who currently beating up the guys. She then noticed Snapper from afar

Snapper saw her was staring at him, he tried his best telling the girl to look away.

But it was too late

"Huh? What are you looking at?" Taehoon asked as he turned towards the direction she was staring at. Snapper shreked as he quick hide behind the wall.
