Chapter 3

I know my dad has a reason to be worried but I'll be fine. I trust in Soren's abilities to keep me safe. Adonis is a gamble but I'm sure he won't lead me wrong. He might be a lot of shit but a liar is not one. He's mean and rude but not a liar, that's his one good quality.

Adonis had never liked me so my usual nice attitude is changed when he's around. I like to tease him and get under his skin. It's probably my need to be liked being unfulfilled and instead of being nice I instead chose to be annoying. I would stop but seeing him riled up is the best.

I got home and walked into Soren drawing. In front of him was my cousin and best friend Melody and Ace posing. Melody was bent over with her ass on Ace and Ace had his hand gripping her hip.

"When did y'all get here?" I questioned, heading to the kitchen.

"Like twenty minutes ago." Melody said.

"No, don't move." Soren's light voice sounded.

"He's bossy." Ace laughed. I walked over and went behind Soren. I gave him a hug and a kiss on the head while watching him work. It was good but that's not nothing new.

"Damn my baby talented." I smirked.

"Thank you." He blushed. His long black hair was clipped in his head with bunny shaped pins. I got him those for his birthday last year. It was a joke but they do come in handy when dealing with his hair.

"Ugh hurt up, watching y'all gives me heart burn." Melody groaned.

"Don't be jealous you're lonely." I grinned. "Everyone here has someone but you."

"Ace is single. Right Ace, please say yes." Melody glanced back at Ace.

"Nope. I'm taken Mel. Made it official with Amanda like yesterday." He smiled. We all groaned.

"Oh come on. We told you not to go with her rude ass." Ace shrugged. Amanda is a bitch but it's his decision. "So I'm really the only single one?" We all
nodded. I don't see Ace and Amanda working out so Mel will have another single friend again soon.

"It's okay babe you'll find someone." Ace patted her thigh.

"Yeah you right, like tonight. Let's go clubbing tonight and find me a man." She stood up. Soren gave her a glare so she bent back down with a pout.

"I was actually hoping-" Ace started.

"Nothing, you're going since you wanna get booed up with the witch my bad I meant bitch." Melody cut Ace off.

"Hey she's my girlfriend, y'all gotta stop." He glared.

"Sorry but a bitches, a bitchs. Ace she tried to fight me because I brought you breakfast. Like I would ever fuck you. You're too skinny and white for me." Melody shook her head. "I like my men tall, dark and buff, not pale and lanky."

"He's handsome, not pale and lanky." I grinned. Ace had a look about him that's appealing. It's kind of weird but still really good looking.

"No Soren's handsome, Ace is oddly good looking. You look at him and go 'okay maybe' you look at Soren and go 'damn he's fine'." Melody explained.

"I'm hurt." Ace said in a lazy tone. He doesn't care about his appearance much. Oddly though his mullet and mustache works well though.

"Don't be your still handsome just not Soren or Romero." Melody shrugged.

"Yeah I agree. But there is one guy who's better than both of them." Ace smirked.

"Who's better than us?" I glared. Nobody looks better than my baby. Soren is top tier.
