"his soul."
"me."
"you're close enough of choi soobin so hyukjun would get him to affect you?" yeonjun hummed, knowing it was a rhetorical question.
"what does his-" the red haired was interrupted by jungkook freeing himself and throwing at him a spike made of ice, that the demon managed to stop mid air in front of his face, centimeters away from hitting him. "poor manners you have, prince jungkook." the angel stared at him, mad by the fact he couldn't hit the disinherited male. yeonjun turned to him, the ice spike following with it. "come on, try harder."
jungkook tried to push the spike foward, but it seemed useless. it was annoying how something created by his own magic got easily controlled by someone else. the demon was clearly not as powerless as everyone said.
"i see the rumors are indeed right. the chains could have been a spell, as you're half crystalian, but not this." rhea stated, not interfering in the small and useless fight. jungkook should take responsibility for what he did. the demon smirked, his red eyes burning on the prince's brown ones.
"aren't you the future king? i would expect more." the male's smirk grew when seeing jungkook's face twitch in anger, knowing he had hit the mark when saying such words.
the staring contest was held for a couple more seconds before the angel managed to move the spike, even if not the way he wanted. yeonjun felt his cheekbone get cut when the ice went close to his face, hitting the wall behind him. he raised his hand, sliding a finger on the cut and cleaning the blood from it before healing himself and licking the small amount of crimson liquid on his fingertip.
"now that your show is over, might i continue speaking with your mother, or do you want to attack me again? i should say i won't be as polite as just defending myself like now." jungkook opened his mouth to answer, clearly annoyed, but was cut by his mother cleaning her throat. he tsked, grabbing one of the free chairs and sitting beside rhea, facing his other mother.
the queen was, to say at least, surprised. yeonjun was known for being powerless for years, but right before her eyes he locked her sons and daughter, stopped jungkook's royal power and healed himself. it was like he had too many powers. that and the whole aura the male had, it was like he presented himself as a king, the whole atmosphere seemed to be taken by his presence, as if every atom of oxygen was being controlled by him. she wasn't scared or frightened, but she couldn't lie, he was intimidating.
"like i was saying, what does soobin's soul has?" yeonjun sat back on the chair, his posture making it look like he was the king in the room, not the two women. "you're not answering, am i right?" he hummed, already knowing the answer. the angels wouldn't just answer something like that because he asked politely.
"what do you want?" jungkook spoke through his teeth, trying to stay professional after the outburst he had earlier.
"a deal."
"and why would we do a deal with you? doesn't seem appealing." ann leaned on the chair, her arms rested on it's arms as she stared at the demon.
"it benefits both parts, of course. i wouldn't be stupid enough to break inside your castle with some ridiculous arguments." yeonjun scoffed, even offended by someone thinking he could be that dumb. "you hate my father, i hate him. you was responsible for soobin, he's mine. you help me, and we kill the king and get soobin. no need to say a lot of your problems would be solved, way more with him currently planning to start war."
"it would be beneficial for us, but taking hyukjun out of the way just to have to deal with seokjin after is replacing a problem with another." rhea stated calmly, her hands moving in the air slowly as she spoke.
