Chapter 1 (Rewritten): Rebooted

The bastion point his gatling toward the pinned man. "SCOTT GET OUT!!!!" his friend called him. He want to help but the others bastion stop him from going to his pinned friend. The gatling started to make a sound. "SCOTT NOOOO!!!!!" his friend screamed. The soldier closed his eyes accepting his fate.

The mysterious man noticed and he jump then shot something from his sleeves. A holographic and electrical knife flew from his sleeve and went straight to the bastion.

As the bastion about to do the kill, the knife landed at it head and the bastion was electrocute as he shaked uncontrollable. It then fall down and his omnic eye shut down. The soldier lift himself with a confused look at his face.

He turn around to be greeted by his friend. He pull him up and brought him to safety "Thanks for saving my ass." he thanked his friend. His shook his head "It wasn't me." he stated. The soldier was confused "Wait, if it wasnt you then who-?" he was about to said something but the mysterious man pass him.

"It's him. Your savior." his friend said jokingly. The soldier look at the mysterious man in shocked and amazed. The man just continue run until he reach a battered motorcycle.

He picked up and wire it. Thankfully the motorcycle turned on. He hopped on and drive toward the army of bastion.

Reinhardt swing his hammer which leave a slash toward the bastion then use his shield to protect the injured soldier. Pharah launch a volley of missiles toward the bastion as they were focused on reinhardt. They look at front and more bastion marching toward them. They then turn around to see that the soldier is tired, beaten, unmotivated and give up. They need to raise their spirit but given the situation, it seem impossible.

Suddenly a motorcycle pass them unnoticed. Reinhardt just realized as the man rode toward the army of bastion. "WAIT STOP!!" he shouted but the man was too far to be heard.

The omnic see a man approaching them. One of the bastion turn itself into a sentry and use a rocket launcher. It then fire a rocket toward the man. He dodged the rocket but there were many more approaching him. He effortlessly dodged all the missiles until one missile hit his motorcycle as he is sent flying.

As he is flew in the air, he shot two holographic knife and electrocute two bastion in the process. He landed inside the omnic defenses. The bastions without hesitate fire their gatling gun toward the man. The man stand up quickly and dodge the raining bullet while kill some bastion in his way.

He saw a bastion pointed it gun toward him. He then charge at the omnic and attack its head using his kneel before it could fire its gun. He roll absorbing the impact and toss another holographic knife. The knife landed on one of bastion and kill it instantly.

After that he unsheath two sword that emitte electricity. The swords looks to be a katana but the sheath is as small as a dagger indicating that the sword can be expand or shrink given the situation.

He slash the omnic swiftly that even their advance eyes couldn't keep up with it. Then out of no where something hit him. He rolled over and get up. He saw an omnic that similar to a gladiator holding a warhammer. Then a flash back came through, of all the time, it has to be now he entered a semi-animus state.

A semi-animus which is similar to entering animus but rather using a machine or any herbs, it's actually random. This is a side effect having the ability to turn eagle. No one knows why but sometimes it didn't happened. Usually that chance of getting semi-animus will get lower the longer you have the eagle ability but never got to zero which is odd.

Anyhow unlike the animus, it's rather like a deja vu since he is still aware of his surronding. A flashes went through him, the memory of Eivor Varinsdottir.

Out of blue, another eagle was seen. It then went straight to the omnic gladiator and transformed into a man with a hood and kick the omnic. It staggered back a little but a dagger shot toward the omnic and hit it head, instantly electrocute it and it was killed by another mysterious man.

The man got himself up to show his face. White pale and his lip were medium red, almost similar to blood and one could assumed he is a vampire if it weren't for a scar on his left cheek. He turned toward the assassin "You're getting way to old, Phantom." he said. Phantom then shot his dagger toward him and nearly missed but hit a bastion who was about to shoot at him.

Phantom got up "And you're still a rookie." he said "Always be aware of your surrounding, Ghost. It always save your ass." he said.

The master

Age: around 50 to 69 and still healthy
Real name: unknown
Birth place: unknown
Relatives: other than his apprentice, unknown

Ghost chuckled "Note taken."he said pulling Phantom to his feet. They looked at the soldiers and to their surprised, they charged at omnic with a battle cry. Phantom smiles. "Like the old day." he said. Ghost nod "Yeah. All they need is someone to motivate them." he retorted.

Phantom puts his hand on Ghost's shoulder. "Are you willing to pledge your life to the Assassin Order? The greater good?" he asked. Ghost nod "With all my heart.".

"That's my boy." he said patting his shoulder. They dodge rain of bullet shooting at them. They then jumped in the air and transform into eagles. As they look around, the humans were starting to push the omnic back as they regain motivation and strenght. They switched attention and dive toward the omnics who is focused on the soldiers.

As they were in the air, they transform back into human and pull out the knife hidden in their sleeves. The omnics notice the assassin but were too late as they thrust the blade inside the omnics' head. They rolled over and went to kill another omnic.

They turned around and saw a bastion holidng a bazooka but before it could fire, a rocket hit the bastion, exploding him in the process. They looked around and saw a man holding a rocket launcher with his shoulder bandaged. They both nod and charged toward the omnic
