"Wait!" Dazai shouted, causing you to slightly jump at his sudden outburst. Chuuya witnessed this, his expression changing from shock to anger and fear. "We've got a new job, but it's no fun if you're not with us too..."
"Don't tell me it's the Port Mafia again," you groaned in annoyance. You were done with their shenanigans. Little did you know the thoughts of guilt running through your favorite customer's mind at that moment as he sat across from you.
"Kunikida got a tip from an unknown sponsor," Dazai explained, "we plan to go meet up with Rokuzo now that Kunikida's done with his routine paperwork, and I wanted to call you to see if you wanted to come with."
"Sure!" You exclaimed happily, excited at the idea of a new job. "I'll get ready to go then. I'm sure my sister will be fine taking over my shift!"
"Yep! Be at the place in thirty minutes," Dazai responded before hanging up.
As you lowered the phone, a million thoughts ran through Chuuya's head. Dazai? Double suicide? Port Mafia? Again? Where is (Y/N) going? How do they know Dazai? What has the Port Mafia done to them? He looked at you questioningly and asked, "who was that?"
"A co-worker of mine," you explained, smiling at Chuuya, not knowing the fact that he was actually a Port Mafia executive himself. "His name is Osamu Dazai, and he has a strange obsession with suicide. He always asks me every day if I'd like to join him, but don't worry, I'm not going anywhere any time soon.
Chuuya gulped before questioning, "what do you have to do with the Port Mafia?"
"Well... my line of work usually associates with stopping the Port Mafia from causing too much chaos. I'm a private investigator, a member of the Armed Detective Agency. I just got called in for a new case, so I have to go meet with an informant to learn more about it. I do have an ability and all, but I'll reveal that some other time. This is already quite a lot of private information I'm telling you about here," you replied, standing up out of your seat. "Where do you work, Chuuya?"
The executive thought for a second before standing up and grabbing his hat, placing it back upon his head. "I'm an accountant." He mentally slapped himself after that. He didn't even know what an accountant was, it was just the first occupation that came to his mind.
"Oh!" You were kind of shocked. His outfit seemed a bit weird for that profession, and many other things just didn't add up. "What is it like living a peaceful life then?"
"It's cool," Chuuya lied, "boring but cool. But the bastards at my workplace never get shit done. That's my only complaint."
"Alright," you murmured before turning your head around to call out to your sister, "Ishiko! I've got a new case so I need you to take over my shift for me!"
"If you insist," your little sister replied before groaning, "you never actually complete your shifts nowadays ever since you joined that stupid agency..."
Chuuya faked a smile as she came down the stairs and as he started walking out of the cafe. "Goodbye (Y/N) and Ishiko, see you again later!"
"Bye, Chuuya!" You walked outside too and waved to him before finally heading off in a separate direction than him.
The cup of coffee sat at the table, now completely forgotten, growing colder by the second. Neither you nor Chuuya picked it up due to the rush you both were in.
Whistling a small tune, Chuuya calmly walked on the streets before making a sharp turn into a dark alleyway. He continued down the path for a little before stopping and screaming, "SHIIIIT!"

Kunikida looked over at Dazai before checking his watch again. "Where are they? Shouldn't they be here by now?"
