Save as PNG.

˗ˏˋ STEP 4 'ˎ˗

Open PicsArt and insert your Transparent PNG.
If you have multiple books this helps so that you don't have to add overlays for each book cover whenever you make it.
On your Transparent PNG, on the bottom row, click "Sticker."
Then search, "PNG Overlay."

Start adding PNGs to the transparent PNG. I recommend using see-through pngs / pngs with white borders so that it stands out slightly. I recommend putting the pngs on the side. Something like this. ⤵

It looks neat, it isn't jammed together and you'll be able to see the character.

Once you finished placing your PNGs, save them and download them.

˗ˏˋ STEP 5 'ˎ˗

Open your background in PicsArt and on the bottom row, click "Sticker."

Search up the character you like and adjust the sticker. You can also add a border or shadow.

Once you've done that, on the bottom row click, "Add Photo."

Add your transparent png overlay on top of it. Then click "Apply" and save!

And you're done!
