Deruth threw the documents in his hands as if they were just useless trash and left the meeting room.

The 5 people in the meeting looked at each other and had the same thought.

Rosalyn asked as she felt she was running out of mana.

"I already told him. We just have to wait for him now! Ah!"

The coat that Cale was wearing caught on a tree branch and made him fall.

Cale closed his eyes as the monsters were about to pounce on him.

Deruth gently stroked Cale's shivering back.  Cale's eyes were bloodshot, but he wasn't crying.

"Rosalyn, can you stand up?"

Deruth asked and Rosalyn tried to get up.  But his legs were still weak because he was still afraid.

To think Cale would die seeing how close the monster was to him.

'This all happened because I was weak!  I must become stronger!'
"Ah!?"

Deruth lifted Rosalyn in his other hand.

"Why did you guys come to such a dangerous place without anyone's supervision? Rosalyn, it's not your fault. Don't overburden yourself."

Rosalyn's eyes turned red as she hugged Deruth.  Cale did the same.

"Young man, do you want to follow me?"

Deruth asked after seeing the black haired man's shabby clothes.

"You look young too. Why are you in the forest of darkness?"
'He looks like a Korean.'

The black haired man just nodded at Deruth's words.

Deruth made a teleport circle, and pulled back his magic shield before they headed back to the Henituse mansion.

"Count nim, what happened?"

Ron asked worriedly looking at Cale who was shivering in fear.

“I will take care of Cale. Please take Rosalyn to her room and this young man to the guest room. He saved Cale.”

Ron just nodded and walked ahead and the two of them followed him.

"What happened?"
“We were into the forest of darkness, and Cale would almost die if Count nim and this man didn't show up.”
