The Nina Project

"Yeah." Max said, giving it more observation.

"Stained glass with roses." Nancy observed.

"Yeah," Max said as she turned to Dutsin, "see I'm not so terrible after all."

Dustin gave her a look that said 'eh' and shrugged.

"Yeah, well it helps that I've seen it before." Nancy said.

She turned the paper upside down and folded it so only the door was shone.

She took other papers, folding parts and leaving some open so only the house parts were showing.

She took a sharpie and outlined the house, adding missing parts and windows.

You looked at the paper house then at Max, "how could you have possibly remembered all that?"

Max shrugged.

"It's pieces of a house." Max said looking at it.

"Not just any house, "Nancy said she put the rose tinted window door on the house, "its victor creels house."

Nancy got up from the table.

You set down the half finished pancake as you've already had 2 others and followed her.

"Where are you going?" Dustin asked, muffled from his mouth being full.

Nancy kept walking to the basement and you turned around, "waking the others I'm guessing."

Dustin got up and grabbed pieces of bacon off Mr. Wheelers plate, "Sorry, fuel for the road. Thanks Mr. Wheeler!"

Dustin jogged to catch up with you.

Everyone got out of Nancy's car, you Steve and Dustin out of the trunk of the station wagon.

You walked up the steps to another path leading to more steps, then a porch.

The house was run down, the paint was peeling, the windows boarded up, leaves and dirt everywhere.

"Yeah, that's not creepy at all." Steve said.

You all walked up the steps onto the porch, where Steve and Nancy were peeling nails off the wood blocking the door.

"So what exactly are we looking for in this shit hole?" Steve asked dropping a nail and guiding the hammer to another.

"We're not sure." Nancy answered holding her hammer to a nail, "We just know this house is important to Vecna."

"Because Max saw it in Vecnas red soup mind world?" Steve said.

"Basically." Nancy shrugged.

"Great." Steve retorted.

"Maybe it holds a clue to where Vecna is. Why he's back. Why he killed the Creels. And how to stop him before he comes back for Max." Dustin laid out the plan.

Lucas looked around worryingly, "we don't think he's in here, do we?"

"Guess we'll find out." Max said.

Steve looked at Nancy, "ready?"

Nancy nodded.

They dropped the door, letting it fall to the ground with a thud.
