*neito looked at izuku surprised*

Monoma:Mr reyes? What are you doing here?

Izuku:my mother was healing me after a...misunderstanding with my in laws what about you?

Monoma;oh ah..nothing just..waiting

Izuku;been here long?

Monoma:oh um..no no i...I just got here..

*izuku looked down at a backpack then back eyes seeing the bags under his eyes*

Izuku:it looks like you've been here for a while

Monoma:ah..

*monoma hides his bag under the chair*

Monoma;so it does..I've been here all since yesterday morning

Izuku:sleep?

Monoma:couldn't find any..

*izuku sat down next to him*

Izuku:are they out of surgery?

Monoma:...about a few hours ago but..

Izuku:you're scared to see them like that with tubes in there body?

*monoma scoffed making izuku a bit curious*

Izuku"so not fear maybe anger?"

Monoma:what am I supposed to say hey dad remember me? The son you said would never be a hero is the only family member who bothered to come visit..

Izuku:probably cut some of that out

*monoma gave a tired chuckled and kept looking at the door*

Monoma:I don't even know why I'm here..he's just gonna say where's my older brothers or where's my step mother

Izuku:real mom?

Monoma;died giving birth to me

Izuku:ah my condolences..

Monoma:happened a long time ago but thanks I just...wished I knew why I'm still here why can't I leave or at least go inside and confront him or..hug him I don't even know anymore..I just wished I knew why he doesn't like me

*monoma puts his hands on his head izuku rubbed his back for support monoma felt a little better*

Izuku:im gonna give you some tough love but trust me it's important answer me monoma Who said he has to like you?

Monoma:wha..

Izuku:what law does it say he's got to like you?

Monoma:...

Izuku:I asked you a question monoma what law does it say you're father has to like you?

Monoma:none..

Izuku:alright then answer me this don't you eat every day?

Monoma:...

Izuku:answer me when I talk to you I'm still a teacher at you're school don't you eat every day

Monoma:yeah

Izuku:neito monoma as long as I'm you're sensei you put a sir at the end of it when you talk to me

Monoma:y..yes sir

Izuku:you eat everyday

Monoma:yes sir

Izuku:got a roof over you're head

Monoma:yes sir

Izuku:got clothes ok you're back

Monoma:yes sir

Izuku:why you think that is?

Monoma:...cause of him

*izuku gives a breathless laugh*

Izuku:you still don't get it I  know it's because of him but why do you think that is

*monoma thought about it for a minute then he got a small smile*

Monoma:cause he likes me

Izuku:like you..?

*izuku sighed nodding his head no*

Izuku:He goes out every day he bust his butt at work every day making sure  he has enough money to support his family having to deal with a bunch of assholes and scumbags bosses cause he likes you?

*izuku looked monoma straight in the eye making him flinch*

Izuku:...you're about the biggest fool I've ever saw it's his job it's his responsibility a father is supposed to take care of his family you live in his house fill you're belly with his food put you're behind on his bed because you're his son not because he likes you because it's his duty to take care of you he owes a responsibility to you now let's get this straight right now before you go on with this pathetic excuse of "Oh my daddy doesn't like me" bullshit he ain't got to like you his bosses don't give him his money every day cause they like him they give it to him cause they owe him now he gave you everything he's got to give you he gave you you're life and liking you're ass ain't part of that bargain

*monoma looked down and izuku sighed a bit putting a firm hand on his shoulder*

Izuku:now don't you go through life worrying about if people like you or not you best be making sure they're doing right by you and you're father may not be the best but he sure as hell is doing right by you is he not?

Monoma:i...yes..he has done right by me..

Izuku:then there's you're answer why you can't leave you at least owe him to do right by him and visit him even if it's hard

Monoma;did...you're parents did right by you?

Izuku:more then right they loved me unconditionally I was lucky to have loving parents you are lucky too cause trust me you could have gotten alot worse does he beat you

Monoma:of course not!

Izuku:exactly you could have gotten an abusive father but you didn't while he may not be the most loving he does care for in his own way if he didn't he wouldn't feel responsible to take care of you now

*izuku got up and gave monoma his hand*

Izuku:get up and go in there

*monoma said nothing just looked at izuku for a minute unsure of what to do but izuku never wavered until monoma finally spoke*

Monoma:can...can you come with me..? I know it's sounds stupid you're not even my teacher and..

*izuku grabbed his bag and looked at him*

Izuku;room 305 right?

*monoma was a bit taken a back but smiled and took a bit of a breath of relief as he got up and went with izuku to see his father*
