Chapter I

"Boss bot, I have a problem." Bulkhead cried as he turned to the red and blue bot that approached. A grapple hook shot out of the bot's arm and grabbed hold of Bulkhead's cord that was attached to the ball. Julie shifted into her warrior mode and tried to help by grabbing hold of the cord and pulling with them. "COME ON YOU DISGUSTING CREATURE! LET GO!" Julie yelled as she pulled with the two of them.

"Prowl, lend a servo, huh?" The boss bot cried out. "Prowl?" Just as the boss bot cried out, a ninja star sliced Bulkhead's cord. Sending the two bots next to her, and Julie to stumble backwards.

"He said lend a servo, not slice a servo." Bulkhead cried out. Julie sat up just as a skinny bot landed in front of her. Catching the ninja star in his servo. "Better that than feeding the rest of you to that thing."

"That wasn't your call to make, Prowl. We're a team, remember and we need to know we can depend on each other." The boss bot exclaimed as he stood up and approached the one called Prowl.

"Only one bot I depend on, me." Prowl replied. Before she knew it, Prowl jumped up into the air, just as tentacles started to attack him. He sliced the tips of the tentacles with his ninja star before he was grabbed and forced into the creature's chest. "Prowl, we'll save you." Julie cried as she went to fly up, only to be stopped by the boss bot as he held a servo in front of her. Out of the nearby building, the yellow bot came running up to them. "Ratchet, we need backup. Stat." The boss bot cried out.

"Ratchet, you mean another bot I have heard of?" Julie asked. "What other surprises does this world have for me? Let's just kill this thing already."

"I'm busy." A voice replied.

"That's an order." The boss bot cried back.

"If you'd bothered to analyze the metal bots that control the thing you're hitting, you'd know their programming allows them to interpret any valuable material as an invading threat." The voice on the comlink explained, but the rest of it became unclear as she tried to listen. "Alright, I'll go with plan A, but hurry up, okay Ratchet." The boss bot replied. Julie shifted back to herself, as the warrior mode was starting to exhaust her.

"Does anyone pick up Prowl's energy signature in there?" Bulkhead asked.

"Yeah, I am, but it's faint." The red and blue bot replied as he sliced a tentacle with his ax. Julie didn't hear the entire thing, but she heard something about the only way to shut it down was from the inside. "What happens when that thing eats a whole ship?" Bulkhead asked as a tentacle grabbed a nearby cargo ship.

"Well, let's upload this override before we find out. We need someone small and fast." The boss explained. "I am small and fast." Julie spoke up, but they didn't look at her, but instead at the yellow bot.

"Why is everybody looking at me?" The yellow bot asked.

"We can do it, if we work together as a team, Bumblebee." The boss bot explained.

"Ok, I am getting sick of the old names." Julie spoke to herself. "Next thing you're gonna be telling me is your Optimus." None of them looked at her. "We'll keep the creature distracted."

"While I fly all the way up there like a Decepticon? As if." Bumblebee cried.

"You can do it, buddy. With a little speed and a big ramp." Bulkhead replied as he pointed at the nearby building.

"You know, all things considered, fixing spacebridges wasn't such a bad gig." Bumblebee commented before he transformed and took off into the driveway of the nearby building. A tentacle followed after him.

"You think this thing knows what we're up to?" Bulkhead asked. The end of the ax extended from the boss bot's weapon as he launched himself up at the creature.

"It's certainly getting smarter, smart like Prowl." He replied. "Bumblebee, abort." He cried as he thought. "Can't stop now, I'm almost at launch speed." Bumblebee replied on the coms. Tentacles grabbed hold of the two bots with her before Julie knew it.

"You let them go." Julie cried as she roared and flew up toward him. "That creature's merged with Prowl's comlink who's heard everything we're saying." The bos bot replied. Julie went to attack, but another tentacle grabbed her just as both bots were being absorbed by it.

"Oh, yeah. Then hear this. You're going down." Bumblebee cried as he transformed and came flying off the roof of the nearby building.

"Bumblebee!" Julie cried as the creature ate the said bot. Suddenly an electric surge went through it and it started to turn into a powder before falling everywhere. Julie ran and got out of the way just as it was all falling everywhere. As she turned around she saw the bots fall down with all the powder.

"Hey, I was wondering where that went to." Bulkhead exclaimed as a ball landed on top of him and Bee.

"Prowl." Julie cried as she saw him limp. She flew right over to him before the other bots did. "What...what happened?" Prowl asked as a mask fell off his lower face.

"Your teammates just saved your circuit's Prowl, whether you like it or not." The red and blue bot explained. Prowl started to sit up, just as his systems started to glitch. "Prowl?" Optimus asked.

"Careful, his systems are exposed." Julie cried. "I can help him if I knew what energy you guys used. Do you guys have energon somewhere?" Bumblebee and Bulkhead walked up to them as she and the boss bot stood over Prowl.

"We need to get him back to the ship right away for repairs." The boss bot explained as he turned to his other teammates. "Prime to Ratchet, prepare the medical lab." The boss bot shifted into a semi truck in front of her. "Bulkhead, load up Prowl, carefully."

"Can I come? I can help you if I need to. Not that Ratchet isn't one of the best doctors from what I've heard." Julie asked. Bulkhead picked up Prowl and put him on the back of the truck. "You can come, for now." The boss bot replied to her. "Autobot's transform and roll out." Instantly the two other bots transformed into their car forms. Julie turned and saw the little girl running up to Bumblebee.

"Bumblebee, is that you?" Bumblebee turned around and faced her. "Oh my gosh, it was so amazing, I'm freaking out that you were so close to being eaten by that monster." The girl rambled on, making Julie sigh and roll her eyes.

"Sari, take it easy. My friend's hurt real bad, I have to go." Bumblebee told her. The little girl opened Bee's driver door and hopped in. "But I wanna know more about you. Let me go with you, please please can I go with you?" The girl begged. Julie sighed as she went over to the back of the truck and sat next to Prowl, examining him. She liked kids, but this girl was worse than Miko in her opinion.

"Me too, but I don't have time for this, okay?" Bumblebee replied. The girl jumped back onto Bumblebee begging with the word please over and over, making Julie sigh. "We need to go if we're gonna help Prowl." Julie spoke up.

"I said roll out, Bumblebee." The boss both cried out. The boss bot took the lead as he drove into the water, followed by Bulkhead and Bumblebee at the rear. Julie sat there on the back as she continued to examine Prowl, while using a small forcefield to breathe under the water in the process.
