Amir's Family

+ THE FIRST BORN +
Nasser ibn Amin
Ah, how the strings tug at him. Nasser has balanced upon a tightrope all his life, but he faces his responsibilities with a grave determination. The Vizier trusts his competency almost implicitly. He works hard to fill her shoes, but his dedication to policy leaves him detached from the rest of his siblings. Other than the Vizier and his own father, many rarely ever see him.

+ THE SECOND BORN +
Salem ibn Amin
He faces the cruelty of their role a with a smile. Some might call him disturbed. Salem merely believes that to claw towards power means stamping on the hands of those beneath you, and so this morbid realism has characterized most of his life. Personally, he is a nurturing fellow with a penchant for his two youngest siblings: Rasha and Amir.

+ THE THIRD BORN +
Husayn ibn Amin
Hedonistic and arrogant, he is not much different from Amir. He grew up with Nasser and Salem being the designated bearers of responsibility, so Husayn has wandered aimlessly in terms of identity. He is too immature to be a 'big brother' let too worldly to be coddled like the youngest. Husayn simply laughs at his predicament, having accepted his role as the black sheep of the family.

× THE FOURTH BORN ×
Samirah bint Amin
Cool and collected just like her mother, Samirah is a grounded individual. She is a scholar who found her independence at a young age; Husayn certainly was not a reliable mentor, and both her father and elder siblings were often absent as a result of their work. A knack for mathematics and her family's influence landed her a role as one of three engine chief of the Emperor's palace.

× THE FIFTH BORN ×
Nadim ibn Amin
Samirah's you get twin brother. He was neither as bookish as his sister nor aggressive enough to enter politics like the rest of his brothers. Despite that, he is content with living as the family wallflower and distances himself quite a bit from anyone who isn't his twin sister.

× THE SIXTH BORN ×
Hasna bint Amin
Like her father, Hasna used her wishes at a young age to fuel her magical development. It is unfortunate that those efforts did not grant her any miracles like it did with her father (ironically enough), but because she was born from a family with immense power, Hasna lives comfortably as a proud mage nevertheless.

• THE SEVENTH BORN •
Rasha bint Amin
Don't mistake her youth or her cheerfulness for naivety. Rasha gets along exceptionally well with her father, Malik, and her brother, Salem, for her cutthroat efficiency. She is an aspiring businesswoman with an interest in Levanthian technology--- or rather, the profits that can be made from mass manufacturing.
