CHAPTER 16

"Hmm...They saw through the water clones? These brats have grown" Zabuza stated amazed by their growth in a short duration.

He looked at Haku as he commented "It seems like you have got rivals, Eh Haku?"

"It does indeed" Haku replied with a mask covering his face preventing them to discover that he was the same boy who had met with Naruto a few days back.

"It seems like my thinking was right on the track" Kakashi spoke moving in front of Zabuza.

"Huh" Sakura realized remembering their conversation to a few days back.

FLASHBACK TO A FEW DAYS BACK

"That masked one ....he is obviously Zabuza's comrade standing next to him and all...." Kakashi hypothesized as he looked at his students.

"He should stop hiding under the mask and face us!!!" Sakura grumpily shouted.

"I will fight him" Y/N and Sasuke said in unison.

Y/N and Sasuke then stared at each other blankly but if one would look close they seemed to glare at each other.

"I have more of a chance of defeating him than you, Sasuke" Y/N stated as she glared at him.

"You are still facing problems with your dojutsu, Y/N" Sasuke commented with an equal glare.

"I did the same training as you and didn't have any problems" Y/N intensified her glare.

"Who knows if it started acting up during your fight" The raven head matched her glare.

The pink haired watched as the two bickered among themselves while her mind wondered if they would also act friendly like that with her. 

The both of them were so closed off that Sakura would always find herself in a difficult situation to start a conversation with them.

Even if she did it was always a one sided conversation and the other would end in a one or two words. 

Despite all those failures she still attempted to talk to Y/N because she admired her, the one who is always at the top of the class and would excel in anything she would do and if possible would love to consider her as her own sister.

For Sakura, Sasuke was also a difficult person just like Y/N as he was the one who she loves. Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard Y/N and Sasuke's bickering getting cut off by Kakashi Sensei.

Ignoring her Sensei, Y/N was slowly losing her calm as Sasuke annoyed her more and more and she can see the visible irked mark on his forehead caused by her "It does---"

Before Y/N could say anything to provoke Sasuke, Kakashi interrupted the two of them.

"Well you both should stop fighting and you both will fight him under the circumstances given" Kakashi said with a closed eye smile despite a menacing aura surrounding him.

Y/N and Sasuke nodded like a puppy before turning their heads away from each other in a grumpy manner.

Sakura and Kakashi sweat dropped at the background.

FLASHBACK END

"The sight was impressive" Haku commented. "Even though the water clones only have 1/10th the strength of the original ...still very impressive"

"But we have gained the first advantage. Go!" Zabuza ordered and Haku nodded "Yes"

Suddenly Haku appears in front of Y/N with an unimaginable speed as she widens her eyes in surprise 'What?'
