"Yeah. I assumed your phone was silenced, so I decided to not do anything about it" I said and looked back at my phone to make sure she wasn't sending me loads of texts or calls.

"Anyway, she texted me saying we can see your Dad tonight. She said he's starting to talk, but his memory is a bit funky and his speech is slurred. Other than that he's okay" He explained.

I could feel myself smiling hearing good news about my father. "So, when are we going to go see him?" I immediately asked. "Your mom is sending your Aunt in a few hours, so Jisung and I are going to wash up and put our stuff away" He said before walking up the stairs.

"Did you hear that? He'll be okay" I smiled and hugged Ysa as she hugged me back. "Oh right, let's go unpack your bags" I said and grabbed her suitcase. "You're happy" She smiled and followed me to my room since my Uncle and Cousin were taking both the bedrooms upstairs.

My Aunt finally picked us up and dropped us off at the hospital before leaving. Jisung, Uncle and Ysa sat in the waiting room so I could be alone with my parents. I cautiously walked into the room and saw my mom sitting beside my dad as he was watching a movie and laughing.

"Ah, my daughter" He said and held his hand out for me. I took it and stood next to his bed. "Eun Ae, I'm glad you came to see me" He smiled, but some words were slurred so I had to listen closely to understand him.

"I came from Korea to see you. I was really worried" I said as he squeezed my hand and looked at my mother. "Korea? Aren't we living in Japan?" He asked. My mother did say he forgot some stuff, and can get confused easily.

"I live in Korea alone. I'm in the group Enhypen with Riki" I explained as he nodded. "Ah, right. I-Land, correct?" He asked as I nodded. "Riki didn't come see me?" He asked. "We're supposed to be preparing for MAMA, but I came alone because I had to make sure you were okay" I said.

"But MAMA is important, you need to go back. Hurry" He said and pointed to the door as I laughed. "Oh Jisung is here and Uncle. Same with Ysa. Should I bring them in?" I asked.

"Ugh, that old man" He playfully groaned. "Hurry, bring them in before I fall asleep" He said as I quickly left and called them into the room. The three of them cautiously walked in and my Uncle stood beside the bed along with me.

"You know. This should've been you" My dad said and pointed to the bed. "Huh? What was that? Your words are all jumbled" My Uncle teased as my dad playfully slapped him. "Yah, just because I'm lying in bed doesn't mean I can't beat your ass" My dad said.

"Doesn't Jisung have some idol stuff to do?" My dad asked. "Ah, I'm leaving in a couple days for MAMA because I have to perform but I wanted to be here to make sure you were okay" Jisung explained. "Yeah, my daughter should be planning to go back as well but no she has to worry about her old man" He sighed.

"Sorry I'm worried for my father. I didn't know it was a crime" I chuckled. "Exactly, your punishment is to go to MAMA and perform with your members" He said.

Even with his speech slurred, he was still a talkative one and I was glad. But he still nags me about stuff, even though I came all this way to be by his side. "Don't forget she has a boyfriend" My mom said as I tried to cut her off, but it was too late.

"Jay?! Yah! You're too young" He shouted as everyone laughed. "How dare you not remind me of that?" He gasped. "I was hoping you'd remember on your own. Don't worry about Jay, Dad, he treats me right" I said.

"Still you should go back with Jisung for MAMA. I have Ysa here to watch after me for you. I know you worked hard, so go perform" He lectured.

"Yeah, I'll make sure to watch over your parents. You have nothing to worry about" Yiyei reassured me. I looked at Jisung has he gave me a nod and then my mother gave me one as well.

"But, seriously. I bet my members are already preparing a 7 member version, so I should just stay here and join promotions later" I said. "Babe, hurry, make sure she has a plane ticket back to Korea alongside Jisung" He said as my mother started looking at her phone.

"But tickets are so expensive, so I think you shouldn't get me a ticket and worry about Dad's medical costs" I tried to persuade her as everyone gave me a weird look. "I'm one of the richest men in the world. Medical bills are like buying a candy bar" My dad said as my Uncle rolled his eyes.

"Yes, yes dear brother we get it your rich" He said as we laughed. "Plus you aren't leaving for a few days anyway, so don't worry about watching over me because you'll be here most of the time anyway" My dad assured as I sighed.

"You know sending me to Korea means I'll be closer to Jay" I said, hoping he'll change his mind. "Nice try kid. I won't fall for that one" He smirked.

"You're very stubborn" I pouted as he chuckled. "You had to have got your attitude from somewhere" He shrugged.

I quickly texted my manager and Jay the news about coming back for MAMA. But, I still felt guilty for leaving my Father in his condition, but it's not like he's giving me much of a choice anyway because he's a stubborn old man.
