Chapter 23

(Y/n) parked the car and took the keys out of the ignition before looking over at me.
"You'll be fine." She smiled, then unlocked the doors so we could get out.

We were all just stepping out of the car when I heard the front door of the house fly open, and someone running towards us.

The boy had long shaggy (h/c) hair that swooshed over his face, the same shade as (y/n)s hair. Once he came closer, I saw he had the same (e/c) eyes as (y/n) aswell. He was wearing dark blue baggy jeans, along with a black zip-up hoodie and a Black-Ops t-shirt. I could hear the sound of his worn out red converse hitting the pavement as he ran.

"SQUIRREL!" He ran up towards (y/n) with his arms stretched out, ready for a hug. She smiled and crouched down a bit, taking him into her arms.
"Hey moose." (Y/n) tightened her grip on the boy before letting him go and standing up straight.

I slowly made my way over to stand beside (y/n), then she saw me and took my hand in hers.
"Nathan, this is Dan and Phil." She motioned for Phil to come stand beside us. "Say hi." She told Nathan.

I crouched down to look at him and held my hand out for him to shake.
"Hi Nathan, I'm Dan. Nice to meet you." I told him, trying hard to not sound like the most awkward person on the planet.

He didn't say anything, so I was just about to stand back up when he pulled me into a hug. I was suprised at first, but then hugged him back. After he pulled away, he went to hug Phil too.

"Okay, I just want to say how awesome you guys are and stuff and I love your videos and it's crazy that I'm even talking to you right now and you guys are really really cool." Nathan told us all in one breath.

"Well, thank you." Phil said smiling. "You're pretty cool yourself."

Nathan smiled at Phil, then turned to me with a serious expression.
"Alright, now that I've got that out of the way," he pointed up to me. "If you ever hurt my sister in any way, you will not live to see the sun come up, got it?"

He crossed his arms across his chest and stared at me. I smiled and looked back down at him.
"Don't worry, I'm not planning on it." I told him, then smiled at (y/n).

(Y/n) giggled and picked up Nathan from behind and started twirling around in circles. She kissed his cheek before putting him down, and he quickly wiped off his cheek.

"(Y/n), not in front of my friends!" He gestured to Phil and I.
"Oh please." She laughed and punched his arm lightly.

We were all stood there talking when a woman came out of the house and started walking down the driveway.

She had the opposite colour hair than (y/n) and Nathan, but they all had the same (e/c) eyes. She was wearing blue jeans with a white t-shirt, and looked maybe in her early forties. She was almost as tall as Phil, but considerably taller than (y/n) and Nathan.

'They must get their height from their dad.' I thought as I smiled to myself.

The woman came over and hugged (y/n).
"Oh gosh (y/n), how long has it been? Almost a year?" She questioned.
"I think nearly 11 months, yeah." (Y/n) smiled.
"Well, we're glad to have you back." The woman smiled and hugged her again.

"I wanna help with your bags (y/n)!" Nathan ran to the trunk of the car and pulled out (y/n)s bags, then ran towards the front door, with (y/n) following behind him.

I awkwardly turned towards (y/n)s mum.
"Uhm.. Hello Ms. (L/n). Nice to finally meet you, I'm Dan." I held my hand out for her. She smiled up at me.
"Ah yes, Dan! It's nice to meet you as well." She gratefully shook my hand and turned to Phil.

"And that must make you Phil?" She looked at him.
"Yes, I'm Phil. Nice to meet you Ms. (L/n)." Phil smiled.
"Oh please boys, call me Lily. Ms. (l/n) make me feel old." She cheerfully smiled at us, then motioned for us to follow her inside. Phil and I grabbed our luggage from the trunk and went in.

We met (y/n) inside, and she showed us where we could put our stuff. (Y/n) and I would be in (y/n)s old bedroom, and Phil would stay in the spare bedroom beside us.
The three of us were talking in (y/n)s room when Lily called us down for lunch.

Phil, (y/n), Nathan and I were sitting on the couch talking.
"Moose." (Y/n) called to Nathan. "Go get us drinks." She smiled at him. He groaned, but got up.

"I'm going to be thirteen soon, then you won't be able to boss me around." He told (y/n) as he left.

I smiled and looked at (y/n).
"Do you wanna explain what the moose and squirrel thing is about?" I asked her.
"Have you never seen the show Supernatural? Me and Nathan watched it all the time, so we kinda just gave each other those nicknames." She explained to Phil and I.

Soon after, Nathan came back in with 4 cups in his hands, but tripped over the coffee table and dropped all of them.
(Y/n) laughed.

"Oh yeah, did I mention he was clumsier than Phil?" She said to both of us. Phil sighed and laughed.
"This is going to be a looong trip."

Sorry for the abrupt end there, I just realized how fricking long this chapter is and didn't know how to end it ; ~ ;
