Chapter 225

Admittedly I was so happy to be away from those Matriarchs they were driving me insane! Especially Sooni! I don't understand how Dar'ke can have such an over controlling mate! Or maybe she wasn't like that with him?

"Take the next 2 days to greet the clan members, rest, and get use to the ship. You won't be on any ship duties till after that." Dar'ke said to me with a nod.

"I will take you up on that offer Dar'ke. Normally I would fight you on that and be on shift tomorrow...However lack of rest while traveling did me in. I will probably do some training before I rest. If I may ask what will be my first task when joining the shift rotation?" I ask him.

Dar'ke pauses then sighs "There has been an issue with the younger ones stealing supplies. I need you to help me discipline them...not kill them, but make them regretful of their dishonorable actions" Dar'ke said to me sounding annoyed at the situation.

"...Wait if they had asked for the supplies would you have given them to them?" I asked Dar'ke , I had a suspicion.

"If they had just asked and stated the purpose more then likely they would have been granted the items that they required. For the most part at least, if it was for personal profit they still could have gained the item just after proving they were worth it. I don't like the thought of those that steal for personal gain and think Chris can replace any lost items. There may be a day where she may not be able to do that. That in itself would be a whole other Chit situation..." Dar'ke vented to me.

I just nodded in agreement. I understand how he felt, we need to keep independent as much as possible. Chris's abilities were amazing! They have helped out so much! But there could be a time where it is all taken away. Nothing lasts forever in the universe...

Luckily for those that stole that we are on Dar'kes ship. If this had been Bru'taes they would have been tortured for days begging for death before being vented into the vacuum of space. Dying from their wounds and suffocation. A beat down was a better punishment over all in this case.

As we get to the Bridge we are met by Hopper and Crew. They spied the bag Dar'ke was Carrying and Hopper snatched it out of Dar'kes hands and starts passing around drinks and snack to everyone. The Crew seemed genuinely excited by the drinks in particular.

"Dar'ke, I need to thank you and Chris for Snack time!" Hopper said to Dar'ke  in a foolishly giddy tone.

I wonder if Hopper would ever fall for a basic ooman trap if snacks were put into the middle? Looking over at  Hopper being so happy my conclusion  was...he probably would fall for any trap if snacks were involved!

I decline to drink with them as I want to rest first and set up my room. I wave to them and head off. This feels more like home to me...

The hunt was finally over and the prizes had been given out. A group of 3 female lost ones had taken out the largest titan prey. They had won the Hardmeat Queen body as well as 1 year of resources for each of them. 

We had categories for male, female, individual, group and pups. I had honestly thought Chris and Dar'ke had given us to much to give out. It was the contrary we just had barely enough! At one point I was worried if we had enough. However Avei made some items just in case. We didn't need them this time, however it was close!

The food and drinks were flowing like crazy. The 3 sour fruit juice I had created was very popular amoung the bearing females. For a celebration this large there was no fighting, no issues, I was wating for the chaos to descend I didn't trust it being so calm...

Vil'Lai, Siri and Shi'va had reported that everything was going well. Crash was keeping an eye on things as well it's been 2 days and Singh hasn't woken up yet. Crash was managing security from his room as the elite enforcer kept him informed from the ground.
