She managed to finally pull herself to her feet, her knees crack a little as she stood on her feet. She stretched her arms and arched her back as best as she could. Placing her hand on her ribs, she wondered how long this pain would last. She thought about getting painkillers because that would make life so much easier. Numbing the pain would bring some relief at least.
She slipped the blanket off her shoulders, shivering a little as the cold air made contact with her skin and walked towards the bathroom to use the toilet. She walked back the small room and stopped, she turned her head and noticed the door was open. She rose an eyebrow and walked over to the door, opening it and gasping when she saw a king single bed inside, already made up. She had no idea when this happened, she glanced at her watch and saw it was nearly ten in the morning. She had slept a long time, this was very odd for her.
However, she smiled when she saw the bed. The quilt was a dark purple with diamantes at the end, she walked over and felt the fabric. It was so smooth, and felt the quilt within the quilt cover and she could tell she would be very warm in this bed. She felt some tears in her eyes, she didn't know if she really deserved it. She wanted to thank whoever did it for her, but it looked like a waste of money to her. She wouldn't say it to them though, after all she knew it was likely Jack who would have gotten it for her. She didn't quite understand him wanting to do these things for her. Especially the actions and words from the autobots.
She turned away from the bed to leave the room to make use of the bathroom. She figured she should see if Fowler was here to take her shopping, even though she did not expect it to actually happen. Once she had relieved herself, she grabbed a baked bean tin and slices of bread to eat. She scooped some of the beans onto the bread to eat and she was happy she no longer was gagging while trying to swallow, but she still was not pushing it. Her stomach was growling at her angrily, so she had to soothe that anyway. She made her way from her room to the main lobby.
As she reached the lobby, she noticed on one of the platforms the kids had set up a couch, coffee table and TV with a gaming system. It seemed they were settling in more and she was surprised Ratchet was allowing it. Bee was watching them, his optics were wide with curiosity at what they were doing. She did notice Optimus, Ratchet and Bulkhead talking off to the side. Ratchet appeared to be angry and frustrated by something while Optimus seemed annoyed.
They're talking about me, aren't they? Of course they are. I am a nuisance to them after all.
Saphira looked down at the plate of food, wondering if it was worth even eating the rest of it. "Good morning, sunshine." She flinched and looked up to see Fowler walking down the stairs with a smile. "I hope you had a good sleep."
"Um...it was fine," Saphira responded in a bored tone. "I don't feel like I've had a good rest though."
"I am sorry to hear that. What about your injuries?" Fowler smiled at her as he approached her. "I heard from Ratchet they were not too bad, but it will take time for you to heal."
She grimaced a little and looked away from Fowler. "They're fine."
Fowler paid little mind to the snappy tone Saphira had in her response. "Anyway, I hope you are looking forward to today. I am sure you will enjoy having new clothes."
"Yeah, except I don't really have anywhere to put them," Saphira said bluntly as she walked around Fowler. "So...I am not sure if I want any."
"Don't worry about that, you will get a set of drawers and closet for your clothes as well. I will make sure of it." Fowler walked behind the girl as Saphira looked over to Optimus. The commander had glanced towards her as he had heard her voice, but remained talking with Ratchet. "I know we are getting you a whole new wardrobe today, but I think we should look at furniture too."
