Dark Horse

'You know if someone were to sneak on my jet it should of been detected' a voice whispers in her ear, jolting awake Y/N went into attack mode grabbing the person by the throat whilst her other hand had a dagger pressing onto their chest. Realizing it was Tony she releases her grip making him gasp for air as she quickly dismisses her dagger.

'Sorry, but you should never sneak up on me like that' she places her fingers on her mouth to cover a laugh. Looking at her in shock but also amusement he shakes his head.

'Wow, noted, wont ever do that again,the stories are true then about Odins mighty warrior' he then rubs his neck where she grabbed him 'But as I was saying how did you get in undetected'

'Fluke in your security' she shrugged 'Please don't tell Thor I am here, I couldn't stay at the compound with that Bucky or his sidekick Sam' she gives Tony a small pout and he melts instantly.

'Fine, but after this mission you tell me how you got on this jet, deal?' he was unsure whether he should keep the secret from Thor but then he rubbed his neck again and got up then winked at Y/N.

'Deal' she mouthed. The sun began shining into her face, realising how Tony saw her as there was now no shadow to conceal her. Moving behind a slight wall she was back into the shadows and melded into the darkness. 

All of a sudden Tony yelled rather randomly confusing the others.

'We arrive in 3 hours, just thought I would update you all, 3 hours!'

Smiling she closed her eyes again, 3 hours and then it was show time, sooner this mission was done the sooner she could get back home and engage in a delightful talk with her father, hoping she could make him see sense.

Due to the stiffness in her neck Y/N started opening her eyes , slowly realising the Jet was stationery and eerily quiet. Y/N jolted up to get onto her feet, coming out of hiding - the entire jet was empty.

'Dammit I must of needed that sleep but I have no idea where they are' The plan was to follow them once they left. Luckily it was dawn outside so shadow was still a form of transport until the sun fully rises' exiting the jet she notices foot tracks in the mud, turning to the shadows she could travel much faster spreading through the area quickly. 

As she was floating through she could hear gun shots, her heart racing with adrenaline, she missed the thrill of a war. Memories of her and Odin travelling together and ending battles, his face - was so proud of her, but that has changed and she wanted to know why.
Closer to the location the shooting stops, noticing a familiar looking guy on the floor she kneels beside him.

'Ah Princess, what are you doing here' Clint clenches his teeth in pain. She uses the shadows from the trees to lift him up

'Close your eyes, the speed I travel makes humans nauseous, I don't need vomit over myself before I even begin the mission' then with a shocking speed transports him back to the jet - As she gently layed him on the stretcher she left in a dash, returning to the location of where she found Clint. Looking around she noticed a stone building with a sturdy iron door and 2 slits for windows, two light strips were by the door so she was unable to use her magic to get inside.
Grabbing her daggers she uses the hilt to smash them out, they flicker a few times until they die out. Instantly she transforms, slipping through the window slits, she can hear a scream and an electric static noise echoed the corridors.

 In stealth mode she follows the noise to a concrete bunker, 3 men were standing over Natasha. 4 other man stood near the other prisoners. Thor, Tony and Steve were on the floor seeming conscious but helpless , she noticed strange metal cuffs on their wrists. Another jolt went through Natasha as she screamed out in pain, Tony, Steve and Thor closed their eyes with a tear rolling down Thor's face, he always was the emotional one, empathy ruined many a chance of winning his battles in Asgard. Scanning the bare walls Y/N began calculating her attack strategy .There was only a dim central light in the room which worked to her advantage, gripping her daggers she rolled her neck then loosened her shoulder muscles smiling.

 In her shadow form she jumps forming a spear like shape shooting towards 2 men who were standing over Steve, as she twirled she held her daggers out slicing through their torso repeatedly. Passing through she then landed on her feet and ran towards the man standing over Tony, Y/N kicks the man into the dark corner whom vanishes into the darkness with a scream. Everyone is now in full panic, the man torturing Natasha starts shouting at his men to kill whatever it was. The Avengers were confused but also concerned whether they were going to be next, Tony tried to find a way using his suit to get out whilst Steve and Thor were struggling in hope that the cuffs would break off.

'Stay where you are' she whispers in Tony's ear who instantly relaxes knowing who's voice it was, beginning to smile gaining confidence his face drops to a serious look when he realizes the blood bath that is being left around them, fear slowly creeps back as he wonders who Y/N really is. The ease, how she seemed to be everywhere at once leaving nothing but blood and screams in her trials.

The man standing by Thor starts punching around him, hoping to catch the monster that is attacking them. Y/N laughs at his feeble attempt then throws a knife with calm precision, piercing straight into the heart, as he drops down next to Thor, the man then rolls to his back revealing the dagger as his last breath gurgles, escaping his mouth. Thor quickly notices the Asgardian craftsman ship and frowns, annoyed that Y/N did not stay in the compound.
The remaining 3 men by Natasha were now facing outwards with their backs to each other, holding their guns out ready but the fear in their breathing echoed into the silence of the room. Natasha was led on the floor, knocked out from the electric jolts she received.

'I hope she isn't dead' Y/N calls out from the darkness, Steve then perks his head up ,his eyes scanning around for Y/N.

'She is unconscious' replies Tony

A throwing knife flies out from the darkness in the corner and hits the lamp, making it swing back and forth. Shining light randomly in the room, for a split second they could see a silhouette of Y/N and one of the men started shooting. The light swings to the other side, as it moved the man could see Y/N flash past with a sinister smile and blood on her face. The light shines back on them and Y/N is no where to be seen, the man steps forward to take a better look and aims his gun, the light swings again to the other corner leaving them in darkness for a few seconds, a cold slither runs down his spine and takes a step back, he bumps into what he thought was his friends; turns to see Y/N blowing him a kiss, she was in the middle of the circle of which the three men formed for safety. Grabbing her garrote she places it around one of the man's throat and pulls, she lengthens it and wraps the same cord around the man next to him and pulls it tighter, the two heads clash together. Seeing the third man turn to shoot, she ducks down and pulls the men down with her garrote wire, their heads catching the bullets meant for her. They drop to the floor and the third guy shouts out in anger.
The light slowly stops swinging and Y/N holds it still. Revealing her face, black eyes and pale white skin stained with the blood of his comrades dead on the floor. The man steps back in fear, moaning was heard and Natasha was coming to and sat up.

'Natasha can you get the information you need without this guy?' Y/N calmly looks over to Natasha who was trying to adjust to her surroundings and the current situation she was in.

'You do not have to kill him Y/N, You have done enough' yelled Thor,

'Uh, no I have a flash drive, I can hack into the system' Natasha stares at Y/N in bewilderment

'Ah, Exciting' Y/N turns to the man who reaches into his trouser pocket for his dagger, Y/N allows this mans last attempt for self defence but his hand quivers, body unable to move or react, smirking Y/N takes her other dagger out, the ones that matches Loki's. Lunging forward she steps aside and using her elbow hits him in the back, turning back around he attempts a stab and she uses her dagger to deflect, the sound of metal clashing crashes through the room and Y/N notices that Tony is free and is helping the others. The man starts slicing through the air left, right and center. Y/N rolls her eyes at the man as she was getting bored,he was not much of a challenge, he lunges in again in a desperate attempt and she deflects again with her dagger but pushes his arm in the air, doing so her other hand plunges the other dagger into his chest and twists she then kicks him off her dagger resulting in him falling to the floor, gasping for air. The room was once more silent with all eyes on Y/N who with the flick of her wrist was clean again and seemed unphased by what happened.

'I can see why you kept her a secret' Tony spoke 'You are quite the dark horse Miss Y/N'
