"[ ], Gyeoul, wake up. We're going to the police station" Rumi gently shook both of them. Gyeoul sprang awake and fiercely shaken the sleeping girl next to her.
"Wake up! wake up ! Hurry!"
"Alright, i'm up-" [ ] choked
"You can't file a missing persons report" The policeman said. Surprising the group, Gyeoul stood aside holding [ ]'s hand for comfort
"We can't file a missing person report?!"
"What do you mean?!" Rumi yelled
"It hasn't been twenty-four hours" The man replied with a yawn
"We only accept reports after twenty-four hours. Then we'll decide whether to investigate or not" He continued, while typing on the laptop
"Plus, you said he's in good shape, right? He's probably just taking some time out somewhere, so you should just wait"
Rumi gritted her teeth, knitting her eyebrows together and starting to argue with the policeman. She stopped when Gyeoul stepped forwards and stood in front of the desk
"I hope your family all leave and never come back!" She yelled
"Gyeoul!" [ ] called, pulling her away from the front desk.
"We can't just blame the police" Snapper scratched his head stressfully "Since the policy is that we have to wait at least twenty-four hours"
"Don't worry, Gyeoul" Rumi patted the girl's back "Let's calm down and think about what to do next"
"I'm going to kill myself" Gyeoul spoke
"Gyeoul" [ ] and Rumi frowned
"I'm going to kill myself if we can't find Wangguk"
"Oh for fuck's sake" Hobin sighed "I can't believe you would say something like that!" He yelled
"I get it, okay?! I get how important Wangguk is to you! But you have to pull yourself together!" He continued "It's not like he's suddenly gonna come back if you say something like that!"
Gyeoul then raised both her middle fingers at Hobin.
Rumi then sighed, pulling something out from her pocket "I wonder if he might be able to help"
They turned to see her was holding a small business card
"Ah, I see everyone's here already" A man walked inside the coffee shop where the whole group was sitting around the table.
"Sorry for contacting you suddenly out of the blue, but this is an emergency" Hobin chuckled nervously
"No worries. Rumi gave me a short run-down of what happened" Lee Jin Ho smiled, sitting down in front of them
[ ] glanced at the man, trying not to make it obvious. Something about him is familiar, but she couldn't put her finger on it
She sat and heard the rest doing the talking, while she patted Gyeoul's shoulder telling the girl everything was going to be okay.
"Hmm..." Lee Jin Ho rubbed his chin "I don't know if I can help you" The man pursed his lips before continuing
"I wish I could be of help, but I don't really know what could help here"
"But I do know one thing" The man then said, catching the teenagers attention
"Y-You know something?! We'd appreciate anything that might be a clue!" Hobin beamed, hopefully the man would give some information about the case.
"Then I'll tell you" Lee Jin Ho smiled
"To be honest...I killed Wangguk"
The moment he spoke, the whole room fell into a deadly silence. What did he say?
"What do you mean-"
"I think I was pretty clear. I killed him" The man repeated with an innocent smile
"Um...Then" [ ] trailed off, glancing at the entrance.
"Who's that?" She asked, pointing at Wangguk standing at the door
Gyeoul burst out crying, jumped off her seat and ran towards the male, Clinging her whole body onto Wangguk and crying her heart out.
"It was actually a hidden camera prank. What do you think?" Lee Jin Ho laughed, talking to Hobin.
"Haha, you really surprised me." Hobin chuckled
"You look really familiar, have we met before?" [ ] then stepped up, staring Lee Jin Ho in the eyes. The man stared down at her and smirk
"I think so. Oh and I have something I need to confess" Lee Jin Ho smiled, his tone of voice suddenly change
"The truth is, I'm 244"
"O-Oh, that's why you look so familiar" [ ] force herself to smile. No, something isn't right, something about him telling her she shouldn't trust this man.
"You must be [ ], Seongjun's relative" Lee Jin Ho said, smiling at her.
"We are not blood-related but yeah you can say that"
"W-Wait- Timeout!" Hobin yelled, yanking her away from the man. The group then reassembled and began to discuss what had just occurred.
"Gaaah!" Hobin let out a loud scream "I will go ask him!" He said before making his way towards the man
Then they noticed Lee Jin Ho pull out a file and pass it to Hobin, who was puzzled after going through them as well. Then the man stood up and walked towards [ ], taking out a small object from his jacket and handed to her
"I think this belongs to you"
Her pupils widened when she saw a familiar titanium ring, it was Cheng's missing ring.
"How did you-"
"I found it in Seongjun's apartment" He smiled "I thought I should return it to the rightful owner"
"Does Seongjun know about this?" She inquired, still a little frightened.
"Seongjun? No he doesn't. He's probably really pissed off right now"
