He frowned and looked at the ground, "fuck... you're doing it again" he sighed and ran a hand through his hair, "what do you mean?" I asked frowning slightly, he looked at me.

"I get it... you don't want a relationship with me but... fuck why do you have to act like that towards me again?" He sounded upset.

"How the fuck am I supposed to act towards you then? You just can't get that I don't care what you feel towards me and you shouldn't care about me either!" I say angrily trying to keep my tone down.

"Well sorry if I'm not cold and not caring like you. Maybe I should just start fucking around and acting like a..." he stopped trying to not say what he wanted to say.

"Why did you stop? Come on... say it" I point my finger on his chest pushing him slightly back, "look I didn't mean-" I slapped him and walked out of the kitchen.

I could hear him slamming his hand on the counter.

I sighed, looking at the ground and took a second to turn off all the emotions that could explode in a second.

I heard the little bell that lets us know when someone enters the diner so I looked up and my jaw almost dropped when I saw who got in.

He came in just like nothing and went to sit on the furthest table in the diner, the one that only lonely people liked.

He didn't even look at me he just sat down smiling like the most innocent person alive.

I quickly picked up the coffee and walked to his table.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" I asked trying to stay as calm as possible, "oh hey pet..." Danny looked at me smiling softly, "I didn't know you worked here" he chuckled while I rolled my eyes, "we both know that you know almost everything about me" I poured some coffee in his cup and looked at him.

"What? Can't I just have a coffee and chill here?" He pouted, "you can but- why now?" I sighed and immediately regretted saying that as Danny frowned, "what happened?" He asked worried, but I was pretty sure that his worries would have been replaced by anger and murder so I just shook my head, "nothing, enjoy your time here" I smiled quickly and went to fill the pot of coffee.

I could often feel his eyes on me as I worked and especially when I had to go in the kitchen to take the dishes for the costumers.

At some point I was starting to get annoyed so I walked to Danny's table.

"Can you stop staring at me please?" I asked smiling sarcastically, he shook his head "I don't know if I can, you're sexy in that apron... I can't help but think about you wearing only that" he smirked looking at me up and down, I could feel my cheeks warming at his comments, "Stop it" I looked away as Danny chuckled, "alright alright but-" Danny got interrupted as Caleb called for me from the kitchen grumpily.

Danny gave him a death stare as we both turned to look at him, I looked at Danny and smiled, "Don't look at him like that... people might think you want to kill him" I winked at him and went in the kitchen to grab the other dishes.

After an hour of work and checking on Danny every now and then Caleb's shift was over.

I was behind the counter at the cash when Caleb got out from the kitchen and stopped in front of me.

I looked at him coldly, "what?" I asked as he looked at me, "I'm sorry about before" he looked at the ground and put on his black leather jacket, "okay and?" I raised my eyebrows, he sighed "you know my feelings towards you and..." I sighed, "Caleb, please" he chuckled, "just- let me finish" he pinched the bridge of his nose as I nodded, "you can treat me however you like, I don't care, you can keep using me or hitting me but... only as long as you don't push me away" he sounded hurt and as I was to say something to him, someone interrupted me.
