"It is okay." Saphira watched Ratchet press his fingers between the door gap to push them open. "Don't stress yourself too much."
The medic huffed in response before pushing the doors apart, they groan and scrap on the ground as he pushed them apart. Saphira looked inside the room and looked at her fridge, she was saddened to see half of it had been eaten. However, that was the only thing that appeared to be eaten as she walked around.
Ratchet noticed the fridge had been eaten, there was some sparks coming off it as it was still connected to the power. He walked over to it and picked it up. "I see you are right. It will need to be replaced. Can you take the cord out please?"
Saphira nodded and walked over to the power point to remove the plug so Ratchet could coil it around the broken fridge. She walked towards the doors to her bedroom, bathroom and showers so she could see if there was any damage in there. She did not hear any water spraying or leaking, which was a good sign the scraplets didn't eat any of the water pipeline. She peered into the showers and walked around, nothing was out of place. She did wish there was only one shower, but since this place used to have a lot of employees, it made sense.
She checked the toilet next, and it too was fine. She knew porcelain was not in their diet. As she walked out of the room towards her bedroom, she heard a groan from above and looked up to see a loose beam. Before she could say anything, it snapped from the cable holding it up. She shrieked and dove into her bedroom to avoid being hit. She covered her ears when the beam landed heavily on the ground, which seemed to cause a few other beams to fall.
"By the All Spark!" Ratchet gasped loudly. He walked over to the first beam that fell and moved it out of the way. "Are you alright Saphira?"
Saphira took deep breaths to try and calm her racing heart. "Y-Y-Yeah...I'm f-fine," She stammered in response, her body was trembling as it definitely scared her. She looked around her bedroom to see it was fine, but she didn't really want to stay there. "I'm just...um...s-s-shaken."
"I can tell." Ratchet looked around her room with a frown, shaking his head. "Scraplets are unbelievable...do you think you will be fine in that small room?"
Saphira quickly pulled the quilt off the bed, grabbed the pillow and made sure to take her guitar and picture before walking to the door. The medic blinked in surprise when he saw her bring those out. "Um...I think...I would rather sleep somewhere else tonight...I don't particularly want to be woken up by a falling beam."
"I guess that is understandable...hmm...we will think of somewhere more appropriate for you sleep." He dropped to one knee and offered out his hand to carry her again. "I doubt the couch out in the lobby is a good idea."
"Better than nothing." Saphira didn't really mind as long as she could sleep without being woken up by something suddenly landing on the floor with a bang. She held her items close to her as she sat in the bot's hand. "You won't hear me complaining."
"I guess not." Ratchet walked out of the room with the girl, glancing back at the state it was in. He shakes his head and looks at her. "I am sorry you've lost another place to sleep."
She smiled at him. "I haven't lost the roof over my head, Ratchet. Losing a bed isn't the same as losing a home."
"I guess not." His lips curl in a smile as he looked at her. "You amaze me sometimes, Saphira."
Okay, coming from him, that is unexpected.
"What I mean by that is you seem to enjoy just the simple things," The medic explained. "You have overcome something awful that has happened to you most of your life...and seeing you come back to life...it just is amazing to me."
