One story, two hearts and two different angles (Steve x Tommy)

Sorry about the wait !!

They stopped, turning of the car completely without any 'attention dragging sounds'.  Steve glanced at Tommys watch.

- 12.47, perfect.

After months of dating he had memorised her schedule without even noticing.

They were hiding on a small road full of dumpsters, waiting for her to show up from the right side. That was the easiest way from school, Steve knew she would come from that way. Even though a lot of people called her miss perfect did she actually skip class 2 times to go to the movies with him. 'Terrible how things turned out, but now at least she can watch her own movie'.

-Okay, start writing, she should be here soon and I don't want her coming too early. 

He was sticking his head out constantly to keep an eye out on the road. He was holding his breath and counting to 3. 

1... 2... 3...

-Hey friends, fancy seeing you guys. Me and Nicole heard a rumour that you would be here, spying on Wheeler. What is the next step, Steven?

They both turned their heads finding Carol and Nicole coming from the darker end of the road. 

-Jesus Carol, do you really have nothing else to do? You cant be here.

-Maybe you don't want me here now Harrington, but I come with helpful information. Princess has a bodyguard with her. A shitty one, but I've heard he can fight. Abusive father or something. 

-Jonathan?

-Yeah, thats his name! said Nicole completely out of the blue. 

'Shit, I guess they can stay', Steve thought before he looked out over the town. To his surprise he saw a familiar figure standing in front of the sign which now was covered in red letters. He didn't se her face, but he knew exactly how it looked like. His eyes darkened when he saw Jonathan come up to her and comfort her before she turned around to be met by judgy stares. Now Steve told everybody to stand so she could easily spot them from her spot, but so she wouldn't know that they were waiting on her.

Steve wasn't looking in her direction, but he could feel her steps on the ground. She was getting closer. She went up to Steve pushing him as hard as she could when she saw the familiar paint on the street wall.

'Byers is a girlfriend stealing perv'

-Why would you do this? the pain in her voice was real, the tears were stuck in her throat when she kept spitting out, 'meaningless' things.

-Cut the bullshit Nancy, someone saw you. They saw you inside of Jonathans house. Don't tell me he let you in his room to study. If you don't have something explaining you going inside his house and staying for hours then I don't want to hear another word out of you.

-It wasn't like that...we were just.

Silence. They were starring deep inside each others eyes. She stuttered, kind of choking on her words. Nothing.

-Finish that sentence. Thats what I thought.

Before he knew it he felt a sharp feeling in his left cheek, leaving a stinging, almost burning feeling. He's friends were cheering, even Tommy. 

Just when she was about to leave Jonathan turns up. His jaw was cleansed, he looked Steve dead in the eye.

-Speak of the devil.

-Hey hey, its the star actors themselves.

-Lets leave Nancy, its not worth it. 

"Byers, im actually kind of impressed, I always took you for a queer but I guess you are just a-a screw up like your father."

It went blank in Tommys head. The words were echoing. It was like he was stabbed with a knife in his back, but his crush was holding the weapon. The words crushed him, he wanted to fold and fall into his knees right there and then. He looked at Steve, slowly pushing Jonathan. He didn't look at him. 'I don't know what I was fucking expecting, but this hurt more then a fucking fight. His face was low and if Steve would look at him he would see the emptiness in his eyes, but he didn't. He didn't care about his feelings.

The knife wasn't there, on the outside everything was normal and Jonathan threw the first punch at Steves face. The fight broke out and he could only watch.
