Loud determined step after the other, you walked through the corridors looking for the devilishly handsome blonde demon that is your husband. "But where is he?" you thought out loud. You kept looking for a moment. You wouldn't be surprised if you looked like a mad lady walking around. However, your search eventually ended when you fell upon the recognizable tall silhouette along with the strong smell of cigarettes. Corazon was looking out the window, lost in his thoughts. Not for long..."You went too far Corazon. Throwing a boy through a window, have ya lost it?"

He looked away as he puffed, the smoky cloud escaping his mouth. He snapped his fingers together and the silencious bubble surrounded the both of you. He slid his fingers against your heart-shaped lips. "I did it to keep my undercover. I'm seen as a violent clown over here."

"And that was ya solution!?" you pushed his hand away. He could try cajoling you all he wanted, it would be of no help this time.

"You're mad?"

"What do ya think!? Ya could have killed him!"

"You're always hanging out there at this time of the day."

That was it, your patience and understanding were running low. "Rosinante." He took a step back, swallowing. When you made that face and used that tone, no matter how inoffensive you might look all in pink, he wasn't fooled. He was scared for his life whenever you clenched your teeth at him. "What if I had to go pee? I wouldn't have been there, right? What do ya think would have happened then!?"

"I'm sorry."

So things kept going as normal, only with Law around until..."My name is Trafalgar D. Water Law."

This sentence was the one that changed your life forever along with the "yes, I do."

Since that day, you and Corazon both covered Law with your careful eyes until you both ran away along with the distressed boy. Eventually Doffy catched up and you got trapped by Diamant. Corazon followed the requests you had told him in the beginning of this adventure ; "Law's is our priority. If we have to split up, promise me to leave without looking behind ya. I'd do the same if ya are the one who's incapacitated. Ok?" The moment you finally managed to escape, it was already too late. Donquixote Rosinante was no more and Law had evaporated out of thin air. You were devastated. You could only cry over memories and your alliance but those tears soon dried out when you discovered the boy had survived. You started your research.

Life can be good sometimes or maybe was it sheer luck that you fell upon the one you seek after all those years. A tall and lean man that stood with natural charisma, handsome and full of tribal tattoos. He was surrounded by a crowd around a yellow submarine ; the Polar Tang, their ship. Your heart filled with pride as you exited your hiding place and walk toward the group. You were immediately seen and their hands reached for their weapons. "Captain!"

You gasped for air, your hands reaching for your chest when you saw Law's face. You knew he had recognized you immediately; the sparkles in his eyes spoke for himself. "Cupid-san."

"Look how you've grown into a fine young fella."

He walked toward you slowly, his eyes never leaving yours. "Cupid-san," he repeated.

It was unreal, the boy you had once protected was now a man. You laid a comforting hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry he couldn't be there for ya Law. When I managed to escape, it was already too late, love. I tried to find ya but you're one sneaky little fella. It's not a good thing for a lil' lady like me to run around like that ya know?" you laughed, and you opened your arms for him to hug you. You wouldn't have been surprised if he refused but he didn't. He slid himself into your embrace, hiding his face in the crook of your neck. You scrubbed his back gently as you used to for him to fall asleep back in the days but this time your neck was wet with tears. He did his best to be unphased though, not wanting his crew to see him being so vulnerable. He couldn't handle the questions. You kissed him on the cheek and his tears dried out. "I don't wanna see ya cry. After all these years I just wanna see ya smile. Come on now, give me your best smile."

"You cheater," he said as he pointed his eyes.

"Since when is using our own devil fruit called cheating? I never received that update!"

So he gave you his brightest smile.
