The elevator doors finally closed and they began descending.

"That went well." Emery said. Lila scoffed and Five blew out a puff of air. "There may have been some kinks but no one got murdered."

"Yet." Lila said.

"Yet." Emery clarified. "Wait- no. No one is getting murdered today."

"Tomorrow?" Five asked as the elevator came to a stop.

Emery pursed his lips. "Maybe tomorrow." He admitted. With the world ending for a third time, there was no telling in who was and was not going to survive.

"Where are we even going anyway?" Lila asked as they all filed out of the lift and into the hall.

"We are going to get a change of clothes and then we're going to hot wire these damn cases." Five said determinedly as he picked up his pace and started down the hall ahead of them.

"He doesn't like to waste time, does he." Lila said as she readjusted her towel and took off after him albeit at a slower pace.

"Not when the world might be ending." Emery said as he started after them, keeping pace with Lila and her bare feet when he knew keeping up with Five when he was in this particular mindset was next to impossible.

"I missed you, you know." Lila said as they walked.

"Why do I doubt that." Energy replied dryly.

"You shouldn't. Truly. I missed watching Five get insulted. You're the only one he lets get away with it, you know." Lila said, bumping Emery's shoulder before slipping off ahead.

He shook his head and picked up his pace, shoving his hands in his pockets and nodding at passer buyers as he went.

"Did you know they have a tailorsman here?" Five asked when Emery caught up. He was clutching a new outfit in his hands and was draping what looked to be a sleek black coat over pants and a dress shirt. Lila was behind him, picking out her own clothes from a rack.

"I didn't even know they supplied this kind of thing." Emery said, running a hand over the articles of clothing.

"I didn't either." Lila said as she dropped the towel and moved to change. Five just turned away and mumbled something about finding a washroom to 'more humbly change in'.

"So respectable." Lila said, whistling as she changed.

"Seeing you naked is just not very high on my 'list of things to do before the world ends' right now." Emery muttered as he rifled through the clothes, looking at their designs and patterns and ignoring Lila in the background.

"Not naked. At least, not anymore." The girls reply came. "I'm decent, Emery. You don't have to worry about it any more."

"Great." Emery said, turning back around when he was sure the girl was changed.

Five came out of the washroom a moment later, dressed in a black tux and looking more like he was about to go to a black tie event than hot wire some briefcases that can help them travel through time... and possibly electrocute himself in the process.

Emery turned his head to look at the boy. "You look-"

"Amazing, dashing, handsome, sexy, breathtaking, beautiful, whatever you wish. I know. Are you going to change into anything?" Five asked, smoothing out the collar.

"I was going to say you don't look like a seventy year old fisher but that works too. And what's wrong with my outfit?" Emery asked, looking down at what he was wearing.

"Nothing." Five said. "Absolutely nothing. You look great either way." The boy squeezed his hand and then moved back into the hall, Lila in tow.

Emery watched them leave and have a second look to his outfit. Sighing, he snagged a jacket off the rack and shrugged it on over his shirt. It had caught his eye anyway.
